Herstellung einer hochaktiven Kohle in körniger Form In dem Patent 461 884 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung hochaktiver Entfärbungskohle beschrieben, das darin besteht, daß kohlenstoffhaltiges, mit Alkaliverbindungen versetztes Material beliebiger Herkunft unter Zusatz von Kalisulfiden oder Kaliumpolysulfidenund gegebenenfalls von Alkalicarbonaten geglüht wird. Wird nach diesem Verfahren formloses Holz .aktiviert, so läßt sich dasselbe nach dem Aktivierungsprozeß ohne Bindemittel nicht mehr in festgefugte Formen bringen.
