Description
- Mittel zur Bekämpfung von tierischen Pflanzenschädlingen Nach den Angaben von H o 1 1 r u n g (Die Mittel zur Bekämpfung der Pflanzenkrankheiten, 111. Auf 1. 19z3, S. 89) ist Terpentinöl verschiedentlich zur Bekämpfung von Pflanzenschädlingen herangezogen worden, aber ohne wesentlichen Erfolg. Gemäß Erfindung hat sich nun gezeigt, daß Dipenten, ein Terpen, das einen Bestandteil der Terpentinöle bildet und bei der Kampfersyntliese in großen 1\lengen anfällt, bedeutend höhere insektizide Eigenschaften aufweist als das rohe Terpentinöl. Insbesondere Schädlinge, die mit starker. wachshaltigen Hüllen versehen sind.
- Blutläuse, Wolläuse und Schildläuse, lind denen man daher mit den üblichen wässerigen Bekämpfungsmitteln schwer beikommen kann, werden bereits durch 2- bis 5prozentige Emulsionen von Dipenten sofort abgetötet.
- Es hat vor Terpentinöl den weiteren Vorteil der gleichmäßigen Zusammensetzung und eines wesentlich intensiveren Geruches, der die behandelnden Pflanzenteile längere Zeit vor Neubefall schützt.
- Man verwendet das Dipenten vorteilhaft in bekannter Weise als Emulsion mittels Seifen, insbesondere von Harzseifen, die eine besonders starke Z'erklebung und infolgedessen einen wirksamen Schutz der behandelten Pflanzenteile gewährleisten. Beispiel 4.oo g Dipenten, 215g Fichtenharz, 2o g :1tzl:ali, 3659 Wasser werden zusammengekocht. Die so gewonnene Brühe dient in ioprozentiger Emulsion als Spritz- oder Pinselmittel gegen Blutläuse und Schildläuse.
