Abstract

The grease cylinder (12) has a vertical axis and stands on a baseplate (58) in front of a filling station (16). A pump introduces compressed air into a space above an annular piston with grease underneath. The grease is forced into a central tube with a connection nipple (24) at the top. There is an air admission nipple (28) adjacent to the grease nipple. The filling station has a nipple connected to a line leading to a lubricant dispensing nipple (10). The air admission nipple is connected to an air supply nipple (20) with a connection to an air tank (64) and a control unit (66) with sensors (78,80).
