Der Bügel w, Fig. 1 und 2, welcher verstellbar an der Maschine befestigt sein kann, hat vorn ein Querstück g und unterhalb des-^ selben bei c den durch ein Scharnierstück / beweglich befestigten Schutzkorb k. Der Schutzkorb k hat auf der einen schmalen Seite eine Aussparung y, Fig. 2, und auf der anderen Seite einen Haken b mit Klauen ^, Fig. 1 und 2. Mit diesem Haken b ist noch auf derselben Seite ein Gewichtshebel χ befestigt. Der Sperrkegel ν, Fig. i, welcher, wenn eingeschaltet, mit dem Haken b in Eingriff steht, ist bei 0 mit dem Querstück g drehbar verbunden. Der zweiarmige Hebel n, welcher an dem Querstück g bei ρ drehbar befestigt ist, liegt mit dem kürzeren Hebel über den Sperrkegel ν und ist mit dem längeren Hebel bei r, mit dem doppelten Gestänge e drehbar verbunden. Die beiden Stangen e sind aufserdem mit je einem Schlitz auf dem Stift d zu beiden Seiten des Querstückes g beweglich befestigt, so dafs dieselben sich auf g verschieben können. Eine Feder s, welche unterhalb des zweiarmigen Hebels u angebracht ist, hält den kürzeren Hebel u nach oben (Fig. 1), und kann dieser Theil des Hebels u erst dann nach unten gehen, wenn das Gestänge e mit dem längeren Hebel u nach oben geschoben wird (Fig. 3). Das Gestänge e, welches durch die Aussparung^ des Korbes k hindurchgeht, ist so angeordnet, dafs es rechts und links vom Spaltkeil t und dem Sägenblatt vorbei kann, ohne diese zu berühren, und infolge dessen nicht in den Spalt des getrennten Holzes fallen kann, sondern zu beiden Seiten vom Spalt über das Arbeitsstück α zu stehen kommt.The bracket w, FIGS. 1 and 2, which can be adjustably attached to the machine, has a cross piece g at the front and below the same at c the protective cage k, which is movably attached by a hinge piece /.
