Description
Üordnung zur Verringerung der Wärmeaufnahme an elektrischen Herden Bei elektrischen Kochherden benötigt man besonders für das erste Ankochen einen verhältnismäßig großen Heizwiderstand, während man für das Weiterkochen und besonders zum Warmhalten mit einer wesentlich geringeren Wärmezufuhr zur Heizplatte auskommen kann. Man ist bisher so vorgegangen, durch Teilung des Widerstandes und Anwendung von Serienparallelschaltung die Wärmeaufnahme auf ein Viertel des Höchstbetrages herabzusetzen. In den meisten Fällen genügt aber ein Fünftel oder ein Sechstel des Höchstbetrages und können hierdurch weitere Ersparnisse erzielt werden. Bei den bisherigen Anordnungen verwendet man relativ dünne Heizwicklungen, die bei der höchsten Wattaufnahme parallel geschaltet sind. Es ist aber für die Herstellung und den Betrieb vorteilhafter, mit einem stärkeren Heizdraht zu arbeiten. Um mit einem einzigen Heizleiter von verhältnismäßig starkem Querschnitt auszukommen, wird gemäß der Erfindung das Herabsetzen der Wärmeaufnahme durch die Vorschaltung eines sogenannten Spartransformators erreicht, der für ein Fünftel bis ein Sechstel der vollen Leistung der Heizeinrichtung bemessen ist, d. h. für die volle Heizleistung wird die Heizwicklung an die volle Netzspannung gelegt, und nach Ablauf der Ankochzeit oder in der Zeit des Warmhaltens wird dann mittels eines einfachen Serienschalters auf den Spartransformator umgeschaltet.
