Der Schwingbolzen des letzteren ragt aus. dem Gehäuse heraus und ist daselbst mit einer Einstellvorrichtung versehen. Derartige Maschinen sind an sich nicht mehr neu, Von diesen bekannten Maschinen unterscheidet sich die neue Maschine dadurch, daß ein. Arm der Einstellvorrichtung mit einer drehbaren Schraubenspindel zusammenwirkt, die mit einem Handrad und einem auf einer Maßteilung spielenden Zeiger versehen isst. Das außerhalb des Klebstoffbehälters auf demselben Bolzen 8 sitzende Klemmstück io steht unter Wirkung einer Feder i i und drückt dadurch den Abstreifer gegen die Auftragrolle 3, so daß die gesamte Klebstoffmenge von der Auftragrolle entfernt wird. - Soll eine bestimmte Klebstoffmenge durch die Auftragrolle 3 mit nach oben an die Arbeitsstelle gebracht werden, so wird das Handrad; 13 -mit der Einstellspindel 12 gedreht, wodurch das Klemmstück i o und gleichzeitig auch der damit verbundene Abstreifer 7 um den Bolzen #8 schwingt. Durch Druck der Spindel 12 auf :den Teil io entgegen der Wirkung der Feder i i wird der Abstreifer aus den Rillen der Auftragrolle herausbewegt, und durch den so entstandenen Zwischenraum hindurch wird eine entsprechende Menge Klebstoff mit hochgebracht. Die Größe der Bewegung der Spindel 12 und damit auch die Menge des Klebstoffes kann mit Hilfe eines Zeigers 14 auf einer Teilung 15 abgelesen werden.
