Das über den Walzenfräser 2 gezogene Werkstück 1 wird dabei durch tine Druckrolle 5 r>.n Jen Walzenfräser 2 angedrückt, wobei die Druckrolle 5 zur Erzeugung eines keilförmigen Längsprofils auf dem Band durch den Walzenfräser 2 entsprechend dem gewünschten Längsprofil im Abstand zum Walzenfräser 2 verstellt wird. Zu diesem Zweck wird die Druckrolle 5 von dem kürzeren Hebelarm 6 eines (Winkel-)Hebels verschwenkt, der um eine zur Achse des Walzenfräsers 2 parallele Achse 7 schwenkbar angeordnet ist und dessen anderer, längerer Hebelarm 8 von der Kurvenscheibe 9 verschwenkt wird. Am Ende des langen Hebelarmes 8 ist eine Kopierrolle 10 angeordnet, die durch eine Schraubverbindung (Schraube 12, Mutter 13) gegenüber dem Hebelarm 8 eingestellt werden kann. Mit dieser Verstellung durch Heraus- oder Hineinschrauben der Kopierrolle 10 kann zusätzlich die Basisdicke des Profils verstellt werden.
