Description

Es gibt bereits Vorrichtungen, um das Entlanglaufen von Ratten und anderem Ungeziefer an Trossen, ζ. B. Schiffstrossen, zu verhindern. Solche Vorrichtungen bestehen aus zwei drehbar miteinander verbundenen Platten, welche in Gebrauchsstellung die Trosse umschließen. Die Anbringung dieser Vorrichtung auf einer Trosse, und zwar an einer Stelle zwischen den beiden Anschlußpunkten der Trosse, bereitete Schwierigkeiten. Diese Schwierigkeiten werden nach der Erfindung dadurch umgangen, daß die Schwerpunkte der beiden Platten unter deren Drehzapfen liegen, so daß die Platten, nachdem sie auseinandergespreizt auf die Trossen gesetzt sind, selbsttätig in die Gebrauchsstellung schwingen. Der Drehzapfen der Platten liegt in der Nähe jener Aussparung derselben, vermittels deren sie die Trosse umgreifen. Die Ausschwingung um diesen Drehzapfen wird durch eine Schlitzführung und einen Anschlagstift begrenzt.Devices already exist to prevent rats and other vermin from running along on cables, ζ. Die beiden im wesentlichen halbkreisförmig gehaltenen Platten 1 und 2 haben in der Nähe ihres Mittelpunktes Aussparungen r^a und 2^a, die groß genug sind, um eine Trosse aufzunehmen. Eine weitere Scheibe 6 liegt gegen das etwas aus der Zusammenstellung der Platten 1 und 2 und der Scheiben 7 herausragende Ende der Hülse 5 an, damit die leichte Drehbarkeit der beiden Platten gewahrt wird. An Stellen, die seitlich von dem Drehpunkt und über demselben liegen, ist je eine Leine 3 angebracht, die sich zu einer Kausche 3^a vereinigen.
