Man muß
auszukommen.Arrangement for the automatic retensioning of overhead chain cables
Railways In the case of overhead contact lines for electrical railways, it is already known that through
To compensate for changes in length caused by temperature changes by post-tensioning and
to accomplish this post-tensioning automatically, for example by means of a weight or a spring.
If both the support cable and the contact wire are to be retensioned, this results
but then the difficulty that the change in length to be compensated due to the
Use of different materials - it is common knowledge for the suspension rope
Steel, for the contact wire, however, copper is used - is different in size. One must
therefore make a separate post-tensioning of the contact wire and the suspension cable or at
common post-tensioning make special arrangements to avoid the unequal change in length
To take into account. So you can, for example, the suspension cable and contact wire to different
Guide points of a free-floating to an orderly double-armed lever, to its
Pivot point attacks a retensioning force. However, such a design has the disadvantage
that with changes in length at the same time a veining of the tensile stress on the suspension cable
and contact wire results. According to the invention, this can be done in a simpler and more advantageous manner
Way to avoid that contact wire and suspension cable at different points one
fixed lever device are guided under the action of a retensioning force
is adjusted. In itself, however, it is no longer new for railway overhead lines
to lead a piece of line to be re-tensioned to a fixed lever device.
The invention, however, makes it possible for both the contact wire to be re-tensioned
to use the same lever device as the suspension cable, i.e. with a lever device
get along.
In the fig. I to 3 are different possibilities for the practical
Implementation of the new arrangement illustrated.
in Verbindung.

in, entgegengesetztem Sänne einerseits Tragseil a und Fahrdraht b, andererseits
d verschiebbar. In Fig. I, a is the support cable, b is the catenary suspended from it by hanging wires c. The ends of the suspension cable a and contact wire b are fastened by means of vers, chi: leveling clamps e, f at different points of one leg of an angle lever d. A weight h acts on the other leg of the angle lever d via a roller g. Since the point of application of the suspension cable rx is closer to the pivot point of the angle lever than the point of application of the contact wire b, they are of course influenced to different degrees by a certain adjustment of the angle lever. By setting the terminals e, f accordingly, the ratios can be selected so that the influence of the suspension cable a and contact wire b resulting from turning the angle lever d actually corresponds to the different changes in length and the voltage remains almost unchanged despite the different changes in length. An undesirably strong adjustment of the lever d can be avoided by attaching stops !, j. In the version according to Fig. Z, the clamp e of the suspension cable is on an angle lever dl, the clamp. f of the contact wire b at an angle love1 d; attached. Both angle levers are mounted on the post-tensioning mast, and their free legs are connected by a rod k. A roller g is again attached to the angle lever d2, via which the tensioning weight h acts. The free legs of the two angle levers dl, 4 connected by the rod k can be of the same length, as is also assumed in the drawing, while the distance between the clamp f and the pivot point of the lever. d2 is greater than the distance between the terminal e and the pivot point of the lever dl .. In this way, as has been explained for the embodiment according to Fig b by the lever device. If necessary, this effect can also be achieved with the same distance of the clamps e, f from the pivot points of the associated angle levers dl, d2 in that the lever arm for the tension force can be made unequal. Finally, these two possibilities can also be combined if necessary. A particularly simple design is shown in Fig.3. Thereafter, an angle lever is not used at all, but only a single-leg lever d 'is used, which is again rotatably mounted on your post-tensioning mast. On this lever d 'act in, opposite Sänne on the one hand the support cable a and contact wire b, on the other hand the tensioning weight h. Carrying rope a and contact wire b attack via rollers 1, m , namely in such a way that the point of application for contact wire b is further away from the pivot point of the lever than that of carrying rope a. In addition to the clamps e, f, the roller g for the tensioning weight h can also be displaced on the lever d.
