mitgezogen.Pliehkraftkupplung In the previously known centrifugal pulleys
with the effect of a liquid, centrifugal blocks (masses) are initially generated when the shaft starts up.
brought into rotation while the actual pulley body is still in
Rest is located. This body is partly filled with oil, which is still there when it starts up
washed around the blocks. As a result of the centrifugal force, the blocks stick to the walls
pressed against the pulley body, at the same time the oil is also thrown off
and collects in a chamber provided on the inner circumference of the disk. The friction
between the blocks and the pane walls is correspondingly larger; she goes
last in dry friction over, and the actual pulley gradually becomes
dragged along.
Motor kommt daher nicht schnell genug auf seine der Leistung entsprechende Umdrehungszahl;
But since these disks, due to their very nature, are only intended for high speeds of rotation (over 500), this process, run-up to coupling, is rather short and barely noticeable to the eye. The motor, which starts up under load, therefore does not reach the number of revolutions corresponding to the performance quickly enough; he receives the burden too early. However, this is at the expense of an inadmissible current surge according to the regulations of the Association of German Electrical Engineers. According to the invention, a sieve b is connected in front of the oil chamber a. This sieve thus represents a resistance for the flying oil. The previously described start-up will now last longer, corresponding to the perforation of the sieve (free passage area), so that the motor starting under full load has a completely free start-up, can come to its number of revolutions as quickly and then only takes the mechanical load with it. The starting peak current prescribed by the association for short-circuit motors will keep to the nominal current in the ratio specified therein.
