Auch hat man versucht, das Ansetzen von Kesselstein dadurch zu verhindern, daß feste Drahtspiralen in die von Wasser durchflossenen Rohre eingebaut wurden. Ferner ist es bekannt, Ringe um wasserumspülte Rohre anzuordnen, die, durch den Wasserstrom in Drehung versetzt, die erwähnte Wirkung zeitigen. Aber diesen Einrichtungen hafteten manche Nachteile an, welche bei dem Erfindungsgegenstande beseitigt sind. Derselbe ist im wesentlichen dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in jedes Rohr des Kondensators eine um ihre Längsachse drehbare Schraubendrahtfeder eingesetzt ist, die dauernd in dem Rohr verbleibt, mittels des durchströmenden Wassers in Umdrehungen versetzt wird und dadurch selbsttätig das Wasser quirlt und das Ansetzen von Ablagerungen des Wassers verhütet.Automatic pipe cleaner for condenser pipes.
