Kollimatorartiges Richtglas.
ausschalten.Collimator-like directional glass. As is well known, the accuracy exceeds
of firearms the performance of mechanical sights that are common
from two brands firmly connected to the barrel of the weapon (rear sight
and front sight) and in a straight line when aiming at the target to be shot at
Line to be brought. Optical sighting devices have therefore been around for a long time
(Rifle scopes), the purpose of which is to create only a single brand image (agreement)
to produce, which appears projected sharply onto the target to the observer when aiming.
The refractive errors of the eye and the errors, which
from the diverse
Illumination come from the rear sight and the front sight,
switch off.
üblichen dunklen Zielmarke einte helle wählen, was aber gelegentlich ehereinen Vorteil
als einen Nachteil darstellt. The riflescopes, however, have a rather complicated construction
and if they enlarge more, they undesirably narrow the field of fire. One is therefore
switched to it, especially for shooting at moving targets, such as B. on
hunting to use telescopes with a single magnification that have the
The field of fire visible in the telescope is almost completely supplemented with the free field of fire.
But if you do without the magnification, then the telescope provides for this
A rather cumbersome device, and attempts have therefore been made to
so-called directional glasses (collimators) have the same effect on simpler ones

The usual dark target mark should be a light one, but this is sometimes an advantage
as a disadvantage.
These alignment glasses partly consist of a target mark (e.g. crosshair),
facing the object and a converging lens with the mark in its focal plane
located. If one now looks with the eye along the directional glass, the gaze
falls partly into this, partly onto the object to be targeted, then
the mark appears projected onto the target. This original shape of the directional lens
is a bit inconvenient to use, however, and has therefore been modified in such a way that
that you can see directly through the directional glass, with the eye then the mark
was presented by means of a transparent mirrored surface.
The subject matter of the invention belongs to this type of directional glasses.
The essence of the invention is to design the target device so
that the light entering the instrument directly from the front does not enter the target eye
can be mirrored and thus superimposed on the image of the target and the brand. to
A second, ideally fully mirrored surface must be used for this purpose
which, if the aforementioned condition is to be met, above the line of sight
must lie in the eye of the observer. In the earlier known
This is not the case with directional glasses of a similar type, and as a result, one can see in
these disturbing, lell secondary images.
Since the directional glasses are exposed to considerable impacts when fired due to their firm connection with the weapon, they will expediently be designed in such a way that their individual optical parts are combined into a single piece by cement. In Fig. R a directional lens of the new 'kind is shown. It consists of a glass block which is composed of a plano-convex part 11 and a plano-concave part 12 in such a way that the two combined form a plane-parallel plate which allows the eye to see through unhindered in the target direction. The spherical separating surface is covered with a semi-transparent mirror layer and inclined a little towards the line of sight. The cementing of the two components of the directional glass is advantageous because it closes off and protects the transparent mirror surface from air.
beobachtete Ziel projiziert.
The target mark m, which, by the way, does not necessarily have to be in the cemented surface, represents, for example, a small opening and is arranged in such a way that it lies in the focal plane of the aforementioned transparent mirror surface s, with the image above that on the rear surface of the directional glass the target line arranged mirror s2 takes place. If the target to be observed is reasonably bright in its upper part (sky), then the mirror image of the mark m appears to the eye through the mediation of the two mirrors and s2 projected sharply onto the target observed through the glass block. A second embodiment is shown in Fig. A. Here, too, two parts 11 and 1 are united to a plane-parallel glass block by a cemented surface s "which also encloses the transparent mirror. The mark is at m and, through the intermediary of the mirrors s2, s3 and si, becomes sharp to the eye image projected on the target is presented.
