Description

Verfahren zum Färben von Pelzen, Haaren, Federn u. dgl. Das durch Dinitrieren von Naphthalin-r - 2-diazoxyd, vorsichtige Behandlung mit Schwefelnatrium und nachfolgende Reduktion erhältliche Diamino-2-oxynaphthalin, vermutlich 3 - 8-Diamino-2-oxynaphthalin, eignet sich, wie gefunden wurde, sehr gut zum Färben ton Pelzen, Haaren, Federn u. dgl. Man verfährt hierbei in der üblichen Weise, indem man die genannte Verbindung in Gegenwart eines geeigneten Oxydationsmittels in wäßriger Lösung bei mäßiger Temperatur auf das zu färbende Material einwirken läßt. Beispiel. In ein Bad, enthaltend im Liter 2 g Diamino-a-oxynaphthaHnchlorhydrat, 20g Was.-serstoffsuperoxyd 3prozentig und 2 g Ammoniak 25prozentig; bringt man das gut gereinigte Fell und läBt es 2 Stunden bei 30° darin. Man spült dann Idas Fell, trocknet es und macht es in der üblichen Weise fertig. Ohne Beize sowohl wie auf Eisenbeize erhält man bräunlich-graue Färbungen; auf Chromheize ist die Färbung dunkelbraun, auf Kupferbeize schwarzbraun.Process for dyeing fur, hair, feathers and the like.
