Die Erfindung besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß das Gurtband selbstelastisch ausgebildet, d. h. ganz oder teilweise aus überdrehten Zwirnfäden gewebt, gewirkt (Kulier-oder Kettenwirkware), gehäkelt oder geflochten ist. Die bisherigen elastischen Wäsche- und Kleidergurte waren entweder nur gestrickt oder nach Art der Gummibandagen ausgeführt. Die nur auf dem Maschenzug beruhende Dehnbarkeit erweist sich aber als ungenügend, namentlich bei Leibbunden für Hosen; auch ist es lästig, daß dabei die Ausdehnung in der einen Richtung immer eine beträchtliche Zusammenziehung in der anderen Richtung bedingt. Gummibandagenartige Gurte haben ferner ein ungefälliges Aussehen, einen unangenehmen Geruch, weisen zuerst einen zu starken, lästigen Zug auf, der aber bald erlahmt, beeinträchtigen die Ausdünstung und den Luftzutritt und lassen sich schließlich nicht waschen.The invention consists essentially in the fact that the belt strap is self-elastic trained, d.
