Abstract

The training and testing system has a frame work that provides a guide rail (3) on which there is a slide unit (2). The angle of the rail is set either manually or using an electric motor (2) to simulate the trajectory of a javelin or shot put and the slide is displaced by the effort of the athlete. The slide is brought to rest gradually in a receiver stage (4) at the end of the rail. The athlete can either be seated (6) on an adjustable unit or the seat can be retracted and the athlete can adopt a kneeling or standing position. Claims

1.
