Die Kunstwaben bestehen, wie Fig. 2 und 3 der Zeichnung zeigen, aus kurzen Prismen i, die zu beiden Seiten des glatten oder auch pyramidal durchgedrückten Bodens e sich befinden. Die Bienen, denen durch diese kurzen Prismen der Bau der Zelle und die Gröfse der Zelle gewissermafsen vorgeschrieben ist, bauen oder ziehen diesen Zellenanfang zur richtigen Höhe aus.As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 of the drawing, the artificial honeycombs consist of short prisms i, which are located on both sides of the smooth or pyramidal bottom e .
