Mehrteilige Matratze (1) mit Bereichen (2, 3, 4), die zu­ mindest auf einer Seite eine variable Konsistenz der Ma­ tratzenoberfläche aufweisen, wobei der jeweilige Bereich eine Aussparung aufweist, in die jeweils mindestens ein herausnehmbares Einzelteil (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) so eingesetzt wird, daß die Oberfläche der mehrteiligen Matratze eine kontinuierliche Ablagefläche bildet, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, daß
  • - die mehrteilige Matratze (1) aus mindestens drei Schich­ ten (11, 12, 13) unterschiedlicher Konsistenz besteht;
  • - die Aussparungen der Bereiche (2, 3, 4) nur in den oberen Schichten (11, 12) angeordnet sind;
  • - die Matratze, mit Ausnahme der Aussparungen, mit einem Bezug (17) bespannt ist, der auf den Auflageflächen (15, 16) einseitig und/oder beidseitig federnd mit einem at­ mungsfähigen Material weich gefüttert ist;
  • - das mindestens eine herausnehmbare Einzelteil (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) aus einem einzigen geeigneten federnden weichen Material besteht.
