Description

  • Kältemaschine Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Schmiermittel für solche Kälteanlagen, welche unter sehr hoher Luftleere arbeiten und dabei gleichzeitig ein Kältemittel organischer Natur verwenden, das bei sehr tiefen Temperaturen siedet.
  • Bei derartigen Anlagen können die bislang üblichen Schmiermittel wie Glycerin u. dgl. nicht verwendet werden, da sie weder den hohen Kältegraden standhalten noch unter der Einwirkung der Verdampfungsmittel unzersetzt bleiben. Es muß daher ein besonderes Schmiermittel gewählt werden, welches diese Übelstände nicht besitzt. Als solches hat sich nach eingehenden Versuchen eine Mischung von Äthylglykol mit Glycerin bewährt, das mit dem Verdampfungsmittel keine Verbin-(-hmg eingeht, sich mit ihm nicht mischt und bei der tiefen Kälte nicht gefriert.

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Kältemaschine, die mit hohem Vakuum und niedrig siedender Verdampfungsflüssigkeit arbeitet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als gleichzeitiges Abdichtungs- und Schmiermittel Äthylenglykol oder eine Mischung dieses Stoffes mit Glycerin zur Verwendung kommt, welches sich mit dem Kältemittel nicht mischt, keine Verbindung mit ihm eingeht, von ihm nicht zersetzt wird und bei tiefen Temperaturen nicht gefriert.
