Figs. 1 and 2 show a first embodiment, according to the two awning (2 a, 2 b) are mounted on a carrier. Each of the awnings has an extendable and retractable cover ( 3 a, 3 b) that can either be rolled up or rolled out. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the rolled position, while Fig. 2 shows the rolled position. Of course, each of the covers can assume a more or less rolled or unrolled position by being more or less rolled; Fig. 2 shows the completely rolled position of the two covers.
We describe one of the awnings ( 2 a) below, assuming that the second ( 2 b) is symmetrical in the vertical plane of symmetry (P). The cover of the awning ( 2 a) thus consists of a cloth ( 3 a) made of soft material, one outer end of which is attached to a tension rod ( 4 ), while the other outer end is attached to a shaft ( 5 ) which is rotatable about its axis (XX ') with respect to the two vertical pillars of the frame ( 8 ), the rotation being accomplished in a manner known as such by a mechanical or electric winch ( 20 ).
The tension rod ( 4 ) moves outwards (EX) and downwards (BA), while remaining parallel to the shaft ( 5 ). For this purpose, said tensioning rod ( 4 ) is connected to a holding rod ( 10 ) via two assemblies each consisting of two articulated arms ( 9 a, 9 b, 9 ′ a, 9 ′ b), said holding rod being fixed to the frame ( 8 ) connected is. Thanks to the articulated arms, which are connected to an elastic device to load the opening, the tension rod is constantly pushed outwards to keep the fabric taut. It goes without saying that any other arrangement for tensioning the cloth can be provided, such as. B. the already known device, which is referred to as a device "with invisible arms".
According to the invention, the awnings have a protective device ( 11 ) which is specifically designed to protect the rolled-up part of the ruch and the mechanism of the awning (s). So it runs longitudinally and transversely above the shaft ( 5 ). According to the invention, the protective device consists of a soft material, such as a canvas ( 12 ) or the like, which is arranged on a frame ( 13 ) made of a more rigid material, which gives the device the shape. The scaffold ( 13 ) consists of an assembly of transverse elements and longitudinal elements. Thus, according to the first embodiment, the scaffold was formed from two end pieces ( 14 , 15 ) which define the shape of the two outer ends of the device, while the shape of its upper part is formed by a longitudinal part ( 16 ) made up of two longitudinal arms ( 17 , 18 ), which run in the plane of symmetry (P) and are connected to one another by one of their outer ends, while the other outer end is connected to the respective end piece. The two longitudinal arms are connected to one another and have the same length in order to converge upwards in the transverse plane of symmetry (T). In addition, the scaffold ( 13 ) is such that its length (La) exceeds the length (Lc) of the shafts ( 5 ), including the associated winches ( 20 ). Similarly, exceeds the width (1 a) of the width (1 e), which is occupied by the cloth in its rolled-up position. Each of the end elements ( 14 , 15 ) of the structure ( 13 ) is a rigid aluminum or plastic part with a horizontal section ( 21 ), the two outer ends of which are extended downwards by two vertical sections ( 22 , 23 ).
According to a supplementary feature of the invention, the supporting structure ( 13 ) is movable with respect to the frame ( 8 ). For this purpose, each end piece ( 14 , 15 ) has a central tap profile ( 24 ) which is directed downwards and engages within the upper outer end of the pillars ( 6 , 7 ) of the frame ( 8 ).
The tension cover ( 12 ) of the frame ( 13 ) is preferably made of a fabric of the same type and color as the cloth ( 3 a, 3 b) of the awnings ( 2 a, 2 b) and forms a cap that covers the said structure . According to the first embodiment, the cap of fabric is formed by the composition of several fabric sides, namely a front ( 12 a), a back ( 12 c), two upper triangular sides ( 12 h, 12 f) and two rectangular outer sides ( 12 d, 12 b). Of course, the protective device ( 11 ) can have any other shape, and the frame ( 13 ), which is intended to tension the associated cloth ( 12 ), can be designed differently, as shown in FIGS. 7 to 11.
Fig. 7 is another embodiment according to which the longitudinal strut ( 16 ) of the structure is a flexible part made of steel or plastic or any other material such as. B. is composite.
Fig. 8 is a third embodiment, according to which the framework comprises two parallel longitudinal parts ( 16 ', 16 ''), which are preferably flexible and are held bent between the two end pieces ( 14 , 15 ). Of course, the two flexible longitudinal parts ( 16 ', 16 ") could be such that their respective central parts are brought closer to one another and held, as can be seen in FIG. 9.
Fig. 10 shows a further embodiment, according to which the frame ( 13 ) is designed so that it contains a central transverse fitting ( 50 ), while the longitudinal struts consist of tensioned ropes ( 51 a, 51 b, 51 c, 51 d, 51 e).
Fig. 11 is a representation of a fifth embodiment, according to which the frame ( 13 ) contains a rigid longitudinal strut ( 52 ) which has one or more transverse parts ( 53 a, 53 b) which are chamfered downwards.
In Figs. 13 to 16 is a so-called facade awning. This awning attached to a wall can also be equipped with a protective device according to the invention.
The awning ( 1 ') consists of a cloth ( 3 ) made of soft material, in which one outer end is attached to a pull rod ( 4 ), while the other outer end is attached to the shaft ( 5 ), which is about its axis (XX ') is rotatably mounted, the rotation being accomplished in a known manner by a mechanical or winch ( 20 ).
The tension rod ( 4 ) moves outwards (EX) and downwards (BA), while remaining parallel to the shaft ( 5 ). For this purpose, the tie rod ( 4 ) is connected to a holding rod ( 10 ) via two assemblies with two articulated arms ( 9 a, 9 b, 9 'a, 9 ' b), the holding rod with pipe clips (M1) and (M2 ) is attached. Of course, any other tensioning device can be used for the cloth.
According to the invention, the awning contains a protective device ( 11 ) which has the particular purpose of protecting the rolled-up section of the fabric as well as the roll-up mechanism or the possibly electrical roll-up devices. Therefore, it runs along and parallel above the shaft ( 5 ) as described above. According to the invention, the tension cover of the protective device consists of soft material, a type of cloth ( 12 ) or the like, which is attached to a frame ( 13 ) made of a stiffer material which gives the said device the shape. The scaffold consists of an assembly of transverse elements and longitudinal elements. Therefore, according to the first exemplary embodiment, the scaffold consists of two end pieces ( 14 , 15 ) which define the shape of the two outer ends of the device, while the shape of its upper part is determined by a longitudinal part ( 16 ) which consists of two longitudinal arms ( 17 , 18 ), which in turn are connected to one another at one of their outer ends, while the other outer end is connected to the end piece. The two longitudinal arms are connected to one another and have the same length in order to converge upwards in the transverse plane of symmetry (T). Otherwise, the structure ( 13 ) is such that its (La) exceeds the length (Le) of the shaft ( 5 ) with its winch ( 20 ). Similarly, exceeds the width (1 a), the width (1 c), which is occupied by the entire awning in its rolled position. Each of the outer elements ( 14 , 15 ) of the frame ( 13 ) consists of an aluminum or plastic part with a horizontal section ( 21 ) which is extended downwards by a vertical section ( 22 ), while the two outer elements at the ends the support rod ( 10 ) are attached.
The structure ( 13 ) has the purpose of giving the cloth ( 12 ) of the protective device or the protective roof ( 11 ) a shape which is bevelled downwards and which favors the outflow of water and thus prevents any accumulation of water. Otherwise, the shape of the cloth ( 12 ) can be obtained in part by the frame ( 13 ) and in part by integrated slats ( 55 ) in the cloth, as shown in FIG. 17. It should be noted that the scaffold ( 13 ) could only be designed with cross struts or longitudinal struts.
Fig. 18 is a view similar to Fig. 10 and shows a variant, according to which the middle piece ( 50 ) has the shape of a triangle, while the longitudinal struts from two lower cables ( 51 a, 51 d) and an upper cable in the middle ( 51 ) exist.
Can be made to FIGS. 19 to 22 show how the stretch cover of canvas (12). According to an advantageous construction, the envelope is made from a single piece ( 120 ) which is cut out of a canvas ( 122 ) ( 121 ). Said canvas is also used for the manufacture of the awning fabric ( 3 ). It is thus possible to coordinate the type of fabric for the tension cover of the protective device with the type of fabric of the awning ( 3 ), as shown in Fig. 22. After being cut out ( Figs. 19 and 20), the cloth is subjected to various sewing and shaping processes. In this way, one can make four converging folds with stapling ( 123 a, 123 b, 123 c, 123 d) in order to determine with greater precision the shape of the upper edges of the devices, while said folds are stapled (p1) and then stapled again will (ps). Incidentally, the center of the front and the back contains a front dart ( 124 a, 124 b), and the two protruding outer ends ( 125 a, 125 b) are sewn together at an angle to the side surfaces at the outer ends ( 12 b , 12 d) to form.
