Description
Preparation of fertilizer through hot fermentation. The invention relates to a Process for the treatment of organic waste materials of all kinds, in particular for The purpose of particularly rapid transfer to high-quality fertilizer.
It is known, for the purpose of fertilizer refinement, the loose storage of farm manure in order to facilitate the access of air and to achieve temperatures of the digestate between 30 and 6o '; it is also known in the fermentation industry to achieve temperature increases in the fermentation material by injecting air into the fermentation mass, but this measure has not yet been used for fertilizer refinement.
The invention makes use of this means to collect organic commercial waste to ferment in a more economical and effective way than before, and achieves this in that the fermentation material is brought to temperatures of brought more than 5o'C and almost completely rotted over this Temperature is maintained. In doing so, bacteria, which the fermentation and the effect of the product as a plant nutrient adversely affect as well as weed seeds, germs and the like are killed while the beneficial bacteria remain.
In the drawing, a system is shown as an example, which it allows the method according to the invention to be carried out.
Fig. Z is an elevation, Fig. 2 is a plan view, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view the plant.
Dies kann vorteilhaft sein, wenn man im Zweifel ist, ob die Heißgärung vollkommen durchgegriffen hat oder wenn man besonders heißen Dünger in Anwendung bringen will.z is the feed pipe for the garbage that is delivered in any way and if necessary crushed and best by suitable mechanical conveying means until it is delivered in this pipe. 2 is the conduit that carries the liquid feces in an appropriate manner. Both lines lead into a bunker q., Which is the loosely layered mixture of these two raw materials. Another bunker q. ' is provided in which a branch of the faecal line 2 opens while the feed pipe z for the garbage from the bunker q. to the bunker q. ' upon need can be swiveled over. There is also a junction in both bunkers a compressed air line 3, which is fed from a suitable compressed air source 8 will. After filling such a bunker, the compressed air is turned on and for example kept running for 24 hours. During this time, the hot fermentation can be completed be. It is then emptied down this bunker by suitable mechanical means Conveying devices such as conveyor belts, scrapers and the like, the fertilizer after the storage locations create. The second bunker can now be loaded. The compressed air line is continued up to the bearing points and flows there vertically downwards running lines 6, from which sloping downward branches 7 run out. In this way, air can be blown through again at the bearing point at any time and thereby causing secondary fermentation. This can be beneficial if you are in doubt whether the hot fermentation has taken hold or if you want to use particularly hot fertilizer.
Compared to the well-known hot fermentation through loose storage of the fermentation material without artificial ventilation, as the following information shows, through the invention achieved a significant reduction in the time required for fermentation.
