Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a reflector for indirect room lighting.
Indirect lighting of rooms or usable areas is often desirable and for various reasons also necessary. For example, it can happen that for practical reasons on a ceiling or wall a light source must be provided in a room, but none electrical connection is available. The desire for Indirect lighting can also be found under result in or from an aesthetic point of view Avoid glare.
Indirect is used in lighting technology Lighting on for many years. In addition to the usual Procedure in which one uses the light source only arranged in a concealed manner by anti-glare strips lighting systems have also been proposed at which can be used to illuminate surfaces with the help of Makes reflectors. This is done by one in the room sensitive light source light on a reflector ge directs the light rays onto the one to be illuminated Area redirected.
The light source is in on a side wall at a height that depends on the win position of the reflecting surface of the reflect gate units.
French Patent No. 676 224 describes for indirect lighting one in the ceiling recessed or attachable reflector unit with convex or concave surface. The reflectors unit can also be constructed from flat surfaces that to each other and to the ceiling at an angle are arranged.
From the German utility model G 84 13 340.6 a device for indirect room lighting be knows, the reflection surface is a reflection screen is made of a stretched material web (light sail), at the edge of at least three adjustable, ver divides arranged, the reflection screen at a distance of Spacers holding and supporting ceilings and walls are arranged. The material web can be an aluminum foil, plastic film, a coated fabric or coated wood. The scatter of the hit the light is very limited here.
Die Oberfläche kann gekrümmt oder eben sein.DE 41 09 189 A1 describes indirect lighting a workplace against the ceiling directional uplighter, being in the high range Luminance is arranged on the ceiling by a reflector is. This reflector either has a high gloss bright, white or a mirrored surface. The surface can be curved or flat.
A disadvantage of all of these from the prior art known arrangements is that the dispersion of the reverse directed light rays is very limited and therefore very much of the light energy used for the off lighting of the room or the usable area is lost goes.
The present invention is based on the object to overcome these drawbacks, especially a re to provide a high level Luminous efficacy guaranteed. Both Reflector itself as well as the light source if possible can be kept small. The reflector should both interior and aesthetic Considerations can take into account.
The invention relates to a reflector for indi right room lighting, which is characterized by that many individual reflection elements transparent, light-dispersing material with ge curved surface and flat base are arranged side by side on a surface.
The reflector according to the invention has the advantage that he had an almost lossless yield of the guaranteed light energy. This allows the used light source can be kept small. This is on the one hand given that the entire reflector surface, so to speak, from many individual partial reflections is composed, each one for itself redirect, reflect, and disperse. The high dispersion power is also due to the curved surface of the individual reflexes causes onselemente, which in a sense counteract step up. The use of transparent light disper gating material is a prerequisite for this. The Luminous efficacy can be reduced by using glass, especially of crystal glass, due to their advantageous refractive properties, in advantageous Step further reinforce. Such a reflector can not only used for indirect room lighting but in large halls, which are strong are flooded with light in order to avoid glare redirect more cheaply.
The reflective layer required for the reflector can be applied to the surface or the support on which the individual reflection elements are arranged. However, it is advantageous to Increase in light output and targeted Redirection of the incident light rays Base area of the individual reflection elements or entire light reflecting reflector mirror. For mirroring can be used in a suitable Way, a layer of silver can be deposited or any suitable metal layer.
Regarding the assembly of the reflector, it is particularly useful when the individual reflections elements have a square base. Here can also be an optimum for the dispersion Create exercise on the surface. Depending on the application but are also rectangular, circular or polygo nale base areas conceivable.
Bei Reflexionselementen quadrati scher Grundfläche beträgt die Länge der Seitenkanten in geeigneter Weise 5 bis 40 mm, bevorzugt 20 mm.The entire reflector should be as much as possible individual reflection elements with a curved surface be composed. This can ensure that the entire reflective surface is practically in each the point has approximately the same curvature. This is with regard to scattering behavior and Di version essential. With reflection elements quadrati The base area is the length of the side edges suitably 5 to 40 mm, preferably 20 mm.
Eine geeignete Kantenlänge für den gesamten Reflektor liegt bei 50 cm.Due to the achievable high luminous efficacy and Di The reflector can be very small or very small be designed large, although its overall size is in principle freely variable, depending on the given Requirements and spatial conditions. Should interior design and aesthetic aspects the edge length should be taken into account small, ideally under 100 cm. A suitable edge length for the entire reflector at 50 cm.
The reflectors according to the invention also have the Advantage on that they are made particularly large can, since arched through the individual Reflective elements no tension in the Total area of the reflector can occur.
Here too it is of course conceivable that the overall shape of the reflector, rectangular, circular or polygonal is. The reflector can also be easily in the form of a made convex or concave curved plane become.
It is further advantageous for lighting reasons liable to place the reflector on a support in this way against a wall or ceiling of the room is pivotally arranged. There is in the Befe Appropriate technology known and suitable means. Is the Swivel-mounted reflector, it has the advantage that surfaces can be broadcast in a targeted manner.
There is a light in the room for indirect lighting source to be provided with the light at an angle from below the reflector is directed. For a glare-free out It is in front of the room or the usable area partial to arrange the light source so that the rays of light emanating from it under a steep Impact angles on the reflection elements. This is due to the free variability of the attachment of the Light source and also the pivoting mounting of the Re guaranteed.
As mentioned before, it is made of green light the advantageous, the individual reflection elements transparent light-dispersing material, in particular to manufacture other glass or crystal glass. From aesthetics reasons, these reflection elements can do little at least partially, for example in the edge areas, be made of colored transparent material. You can also use gemstones or cut glass stones can also be used. The aesthetic design there are no limits.
Es zeigen:The invention is illustrated below with reference to figures ago explained. Show it:
Fig. 1: Eine perspektivische Ansicht des erfindungs gemäße Reflektors; Fig. 1: A perspective view of the reflector according to the Invention;
Fig. 2: Eine perspektivische Ansicht eines einzelnen Reflexionselementes; Fig. 2: A perspective view of a single reflection element;
Fig. 3: Einen Querschnitt durch ein Reflexionsele ment. Fig. 3: A cross section through a Reflexionsele element.
Fig. 1 zeigt den erfindungsgemäßen Reflektor 1 in perspektivischer Ansicht. Fig. 1 shows a reflector 1 according to the invention in perspective view. The reflector 1 , as shown schematically, is pivotally suspended. It is composed of a large number of individual Reflexionsele elements 2 with a curved surface 3 and a flat base 4 . Light rays, which emanate from a light source 5 located in the room, strike the reflector 1 or the reflection elements 2 that compose it at a steep angle. The light rays are refracted when they enter the reflection elements 2 made of light-dispersing material, reflected by the reflection layer 6 (not shown here) and deflected to the desired spatial area. The direction of radiation is essentially dependent on the distance of the reflector from the light source or on the angle of incidence of the incident light rays and can be freely varied and adjusted by the type of arrangement.
Fig. 2 zeigt ein einzelnes Reflexionselement 2 in perspektivischer Ansicht. Fig. 2 shows a single reflection element 2 in a perspective view. It forms a compact construction unit made of a suitable transparent material, as described at the beginning. The Reflexionsele element 2 shown has a square base 4 . The surface 3 is curved. Due to the curvature of the individual surface, a particularly good reflection behavior is achieved in their interaction as a reflector unit. The base area 4 has a reflection layer 6 . As can be seen in particular from FIG. 3, the reflection element 2 has only a small overall height h of between 3 and 6 mm. It is advantageously 4.27 mm. The radius of curvature r of the curved surface 3 is advantageously 30 to 100 mm, preferably about 38 mm. This radius of curvature is particularly suitable with regard to the light scattering properties of an individual reflection element. The length 1 of the side edges of a square reflection element as shown here should be 20 mm in a particularly suitable manner.
If the individual reflection elements 2 are put together to form reflector 1 , this can be done in different ways. In a suitable manner, they are arranged in a frame carrier, which can simultaneously form the reflection layer, by means of a transparent adhesive.
