unmittelbar in Verbindung steht. Eine Zusammenschaltung der sonst vielfach üblichen
hydraulischen Meßdosen führt zu falschen Ergebnissen.Association of load cells. The invention is a

hydraulic load cells leads to incorrect results.
In Fig. I the known combination of two load cells is shown.
The liquid spaces 1, 2 are through a line 3 with each other and at the same time
connected to the manometer. The common fluid space obtained in this way is in place
under a preload caused by the weight of the measuring cell piston 5, 6.
If an additional load acts on one load cell, this causes a rash
of the pressure gauge. The liquid also increases the pressure in the liquid space
2 transferred to the other load cell. The only counter pressure here is the dead weight of the
Load cell piston effective. If this is less than the pressure of the liquid time, so
the piston is pushed back. The pressure of the liquid then increases accordingly
away. The deflection of the manometer is also reduced and does not show the
corresponding to the actual load, but a lower pressure. Just
if the two load cells are loaded evenly, the pressure gauge will
- assuming the same dimensions - the correct ones for the total load
Specify pressure. A combination of load cells cannot be used for alternating loads.
Fig. 2 shows a parallel connection of two elastic force gauges
according to the invention. The interconnected fluid spaces 7, 7 are below
atmospheric pressure. When pressure is exerted on one of the Kraftinessers,
so that an elastic deformation occurs, the displaced liquid gives way
into the measuring tube. Although the fluid spaces are connected, it takes place in the
second dynamometer - in contrast to the conditions with the load cell - no change
instead of. If a load also acts on it, there is also an elastic deformation
enter and add an additional amount of liquid appropriate to the load
the tube rise. If the load on one of the affected test apparatus is reduced,
in this way, the amount of liquid corresponding to the pressure reduction enters the liquid space
of the force gauge concerned. The liquid sinks in the measuring tube. Of the
The fluid level of the tube adapts to the change in load. He is always
proportional to the respective total pressure of the dynamometer.
A practical application of the elastic multiple dynamometer is shown
the one in Figs. 3 and d. wheel pressure gauges shown. The device is equipped with a
inclined plane provided, so that the vehicle - in contrast to the known, the
facilities serving the same purpose - lifted onto bridge 8 under their own power
can be. The bridge is based on several hydraulic pins by means of ball studs 9
Force meter io and thus transmits the wheel pressure P to the measuring fluid. To be stable
To achieve storage of the bridge, the same must be supported in several places.
Since the load does not always take effect in the same place, those on the
Support points exerted pressures differently, so that to determine the -real
Total load for the bridge bearing, only elastic force gauges can be used.
The measuring liquid (glycerine) displaced by the load presses on the rubber bag
i i, which is filled with mercury and stored in the housing 12. That displaced mercury
is pressed into a tube 13. On the scale 14 arranged along the tube
read the wheel pressure P. The adjustable piston 15 allows when relieving the
Bridge the adjustment of the mercury column to the zero point of the scale.
