Beim Schleudern für ununterbrochenen Betrieb mit undurchlässigem Trommelmantel erfolgt die selbsttätige Entleerung der Schleuder, indem der achsial bewegliche Trommelmantel während des Schleuderumlaufes über den feststehenden Abstreifboden herabgezogen wird, wodurch das getrocknete- Gut über den Trommelrand austritt.
