Verfahren zur Extraktion bituminöser Stoffe. Die Extraktion bituminöser Stoffe wird bisher in vorwiegendem Maße mit Benzol ausgeführt. Die großen Verdampfungsverluste, der Zwang, bei verhältnismäßig niedriger Temperatur - dem Siedepunkte des Benzols - arbeiten zu müssen, und der hohe Preis führten zu anderen Vorschlägen, andere Extraktionsmittel, wie Naphthalin, seine Hydrierungsprodukte u. dgl., zu verwenden.
