Absturzsicherung für Tore od. dgl. mit einem auf einer Torwelle (2) drehfest angeordneten Sperrad (3) mit über den ganzen Umfang ver­ teilten, in radialer Richtung nach außen offenen, von Stützflächen gebildeten Auf­ nahmeräumen (4) für Sperrkörper (1) mit einem gegenüber der Torwelle (2) fest­ stehenden ortsfesten Gehäuse (5), dessen Innenseite des Sperrad (3) in einem Abstand umgibt, der kleiner ist als der radiale Durchmesser jedes Sperrkörpers (1) und auf der Innenseite Fangkammern (14) für die Sperrkörper (1) aufweist sowie mit einem Sperrteller (6), der auf der Innenseite in radialer Richtung nach innen hin offene Aus­ nehmungen (7) für die Sperrkörper (1) auf­ weist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
  • a) der Sperrteller (6) mit einer Antriebs­ welle (8) verbunden ist, und
  • b) der Sperrteller (6) mit der Torwelle (2) unter Zwischenschaltung des Sperrades (3) dadurch in Verbindung steht, daß der Sperrteller (6) mittels eines oder mehrerer Antriebsnocken (9, 10) unter Zwischenschaltung von Rückstellfedern (11) in Drehrichtung an dem Sperrad (3) anliegt.
