Segelanordnung und -steuerung für Segelfahrzeuge, insbesondere Segelboote, mit einem durch ein Vorstag (2) und Wanten (3) abgestagten Mast (1), einem an dem Vorstag (2) befestigten Vorsegel (4) und einem mit seinem Kopf am Masttopp befestigten Großsegel (5), dessen Hals bei Anwendkursen an der luvseitigen Nock (7) eines quer zum Mast (1) innerhalb der Wanten (3) angeordneten Steuerbalkens (6) befestigt ist, so daß das Vorliek des Großsegels (5) von der Nock (7) des Steuerbalkens schräg zum Masttopp verläuft, wobei Maßnahmen vorgesehen sind, um bei Kursänderungen die Lage des Schothorns des Vorsegels (4) und des Halses des Großsegels (5) zu verändern, dadurch gekennzeichnet
  • - daß der Steuerbalken (6) um die Längsachse des Mastes (1) drehbar gelagert ist,
  • - daß von jeder Nock (7, 8) des Steuerbalkens (6) ein Stag (9, 10) zu einem am Masttopp angeordneten Drehkranz (11) gespannt ist,
  • - daß an dem einen Stag (9) das Vorliek des Großsegels (5) und an dem anderen Stag (10) das Achterliek des Vorsegels (4) befestigt ist und
  • - daß ein Achterstag (13) vorgesehen ist, an dem das Achterliek des Großsegels (5) befestigt ist,
  • - wobei die Änderung der Anstellung der Segel (4, 5) zum Wind durch Drehen des Steuerbalkens (6) um die Längsachse des Mastes (1) erfolgt.
