Description
The invention relates to a cartridge belt made of a flexi blen plastic with a preselected distance from each other embossed chambers or pockets for receiving patro NEN, optionally with sleeve or sleeveless are.
A cartridge belt of the generic type is already out known from DE 92 03 731 U1. In this known cartridges belt made of plastic for in particular caseless cartridges, the vertically out of the belt into a firearm can be brought, the emptied webbing is over a Roll pulled and wrapped in a roll as empties. This type of cartridge belt is most importantly reduced weight and also less space for that Empties are required, as is the case with metal cartridge belts structure the case.
One also made of a plastic, for example poly ethylene, manufactured cartridge belt is also from DE AS 20 12 379 known. In this cartridge belt are through Er periodically heat up grooves for the cartridges shaped. Furthermore, in the cartridge belt to educate flexibility of hinges in the form of small grooves embossed. After inserting the cartridges is over the belt a thin film strip is placed and welded by welding Stigt so that the cartridges in the inserted position be. These cartridges are removed from the Weapon by tearing the film strip on the corresponding the places by means of the loading mechanism. With this too Cartridge belt are the advantages of low weight and a relatively small space requirement.
Based on the aforementioned prior art, it is Object of the invention to provide a cartridge belt, the weight and space requirements, especially for the empties are reduced even further.
According to the invention, this object is achieved through the features of Claim 1 solved. Continuing education and training of this solution idea are in claims 2 to 4 called.
There are a number of advantages to this invention. So the weight of the cartridge belt because of the very schma len webbing has been reduced again. In addition be it can be used with combustible cases or with case-free Muni no more empties disposal, because in this case the corresponding belt segment is also burned. Even here Conventional metal sleeves remain on the harness when fired ment on the sleeve and is ejected with this. It is thereby also no separate derivation and also none Belt empty space necessary. The other advantages are one simple ammunition feed, small belt loops than at conventional cartridge belts and therefore smaller Muniti onsboxes because of a very tight storage due to the flexi blen plastic is possible.
Es zeigt In the drawing, an example of the invention is Darge poses. It shows
Fig. 1 a cartridge belt with inserted cartridge case sen in section.
Fig. 2 shows the cartridge belt in the view along the line II-II.
Fig. 3 shows the cartridge belt as a fabric tape in Perspective view.
The cartridge belt 1 is made of plastic and is a fabric tape made of synthetic or natural fibers in the draft. The cartridge belt 1 as a fabric tape is relatively thin with about 0.1 to 0.2 mm and has only a small width. Experiments have shown that the belt strap 1 can be a rope in which eyelets are designed as receiving chambers for cartridges. The cartridge belt can also be a wide band or even a substantially closed container. For handling at the cheapest, technically less complex and sufficient of the strength properties, a fabric tape with a width of about 8 mm to 15 mm has been found. The selected geometrical dimensions of the cartridge belt and the selected material ensure the safe absorption of the tensile forces that occur.
The cartridge belt 1 made of a flexible, separable and ver combustible material has at regular intervals to each other arranged receiving chambers 2 , which are designed as closed rings or eyes 3 . Between the eyelets 3 there is a flat webbing 4 . As can be seen from Fig. 2, the eyelets 3 can also be designed as half-shells with attached straps, which is then assembled with the second half-shell to form a closed ring. Here, a firm connection of the two belt straps 4 lying one on top of the other, for example by gluing, is to be expected if relatively low train forces are to be expected. At higher tensile forces and to ensure proper functioning under all conditions, a cartridge belt 1 made of a two-ply fabric tape is used. In the area of the receiving chambers 2 for the cartridges, the layers of fabric lie loosely on one another so that they are arched apart for the insertion of cartridges. In the longitudinal direction of the cartridge belt 1 between the receiving chambers 2 , the two layers of the fabric tape are firmly interwoven with each other as a one-piece tape. This creates an extraordinarily good tensile strength with full flexibility of the cartridge belt 1 .
Synthetic fibers such as polya are used as the material mid, or natural fibers, the tensile forces occurring up be about 250 kg. To stiffen the fabric tape and getting outside protection can be an impregnation, for example in resin.
The belt start 5 and the belt end 6 are beveled in the area of a receiving chamber 2, as shown in FIG. 1. By side-by-side juxtaposition of the two beveled start and end pieces and jointly strip over both ends next to each other via a cartridge, an extension of the cartridge belt 1 is provided . In this way, the cartridge belt 1 can continuously taped who. Of course, it is also possible to separate the belt at any point and then chamfer it again for the desired belt length.
Due to the flexibility of the cartridge belt, the gur loaded ammunition is much tighter than that of the metal belts previously used was possible. The room savings due to the tighter load is about 25%.
For belting, the cartridge belt with the eyelets 3 is pushed over the cartridge 7 from the side of the projectile 8 to an impact 9 , which is located in the approximate center of gravity of the cartridge 7 . This allows the cartridge belt 1 to be fed into the weapon. The stop 9 is formed in the example of FIG. 1 by an annular embossing or groove 10 in the casing 11 of the cartridge 7 . The depth of this embossing is at least twice the thickness of the belt band 4th Usually 2.5 times the webbing 4 is chosen as the depth of the groove.
If the cartridge belt 1 is fed into a weapon, the belt strap 4 is separated at the interfaces 12 . The cartridge 7 is then pushed into the cartridge chamber of the weapon with the eyelet 3 , the two being controlled into the groove 10 by a controlled knife of the weapon after the separation. For this purpose, the groove 10 is so deep that about 2.5 layers of the webbing 4 can be one above the other. In the case of completely combustible sleeves 7 , the eyelet 3 and the webbing 4 also burn. There is then no empties left.
In conventional metal sleeves, the eyelet 3 of the belt strap 1 and the belt strap 4 remain on the sleeve 7 and are ejected with it. No additional line or additional belt link empty space is required here. The system can be used for combustible and for non-combustible cartridge cases 7 without great effort. This Pa tronengurt 1 is advantageous because it avoids the problems that occur in most machine gun systems with the ammunition feed and especially with the emptying line. The disposal of empties in a weapon system with this cartridge belt made of a flexible plastic is also simplified. The new cartridge belt is particularly suitable for combustible cartridge cases, because the cartridge belt protects and separates these cartridge cases, can be fired and burned.
