Ausreichende Färbung kann beispielsweise oft schon dadurch erzielt werden, daß zur Herstellung der Filme ein besonders gelbes Celluloid verwendet wird oder daß die Filme auf der Rückseite mit einer ausreichend opaken Retouchemattschicht versehen sind. Auf diesen Filmen werden die Diapositive einzeln oder zu mehreren gemeinsam in ungefähr der endgültigen Bildgröße hergestellt und nach dem Trocknen auf genaue Größe und Form beschnitten. Darauf werden sie an den Rändern mit ganz wenig eines völlig lichtdurchlässigen Klebstoffs an ihren Platz auf der Montagescheibe angeheftet.
