Description
Process for sensitizing cinema films for positive copies with Chromate solutions. The invention relates to a method for. Raising awareness of Cinema films for positive copies with chromate solutions and has compared to the state of Technology has the advantage that the exposure time is reduced using the new process and the shelf life of the sensitized gelatin layer compared to the known chromate sensitizations is increased, as the applicant has observed.
The process consists essentially in the fact that the known Celluloid pad coated with a gelatin or rubber layer with a Chromate solution sensitized. The layer is according to the invention with a solution bathed in potassium bichromate, ferricyanide salt and potassium bromide (e.g. on 1 liter of solution 30 parts of bichromate, 5 parts of ferricyanide and 5 parts of potassium bromide). The solution can be that Colloid can also be added before it is applied to the celluloid tape. The sensitized layer is exposed, first washed with cold water and then developed in warm water, if necessary after previous staining. The development of certain colloids can also be observed in a known manner without warming Make water, that is, cold; then the unexposed gelatin swells so much, that the picture is visible even when wet.
