Description
Process for the production of a cinema film intended for the production of positive copies, consisting of a celluloid tape and a sensitized colloid schielite carried by the same. The invention relates to a method for producing a film intended for the production of positive copies and consisting of a celluloid film and a sensitized colloidal film carried by the same.
According to the method according to the invention, a solution of potassium dichromate, ferricyanide and bromine potassium is used to sensitize the mass of the colloid layer. The colloidal cliiclite can consist of gelatine or gum, for example, and its mass can be made sensitive to light before or after being applied to the celluloid tape by treating the colloid mass with a solution which, for example, makes 1 liter of solution $ 0 parts of dichromate, 5 Parts of ferric cyanide and 5 parts of potassium bromide, sensitized.
The positive copies can be produced in such a way that the sensitized film is exposed, washed out in warm water and, if necessary, colored, or by developing in a known manner with cold water, where the unexposed gelatin swells so much that the image swells is visible even when wet.
With film produced in this way, the exposure time can be reduced considerably.
