The feeding of the nuts to the thread cutting drill in automatic thread cutting machines

In
In diesem
was ebenfalls Bruch des Gewindeschneidbohrer« herbeiführt. Wiederholen sich diese Fälle oft,

There is also the risk that the bottom mother will not go all the way down; slips under on the base, but just before it, i.e. before it has left the channel, gets stuck, so that the slide that is supposed to bring the nut to the front of the tapping drill grips the nut, but either rotates it or does not close it centrally demonstrates to the thread cutter. In this case, the tap does not penetrate the hole in the nut, but strikes the edge of the same, which must necessarily result in a break in the tool. In addition, the slide, which is moved by the spring tension, can get stuck halfway forward under the pressure of the nuts lying in the channel, so that the nut on the tap is not pushed over the entire length of the same and remains seated on it. In this case, the next nut pushes itself onto the nut that has remained in place, which also causes the tapping drill to break. If these cases are repeated often, the machine does less than a non-automatic machine.
Beschreibung hervorgeht: Abb. 1 zeigt die Stellung der Maschine, in welcher der Schieber a The new device is now intended to remedy all these inconveniences, as can be seen from the following description: Fig. 1 shows the position of the machine in which the slide a
Geht nun der Schieber a
deren Spannung durch das Gewicht der Mutternis about to advance the lowest mother. A shoulder b is firmly connected to this slide α (Fig. 2), which when the slide α moves against a lever c and rotates it around the axis d (Fig. 1 to 3). Firmly connected to the axis d is a thumb e (Figs. 1 and 3), which, through the rotary movement of the axis d, follows a pin f and thus a slide g to which the pin f is attached (Figs. 1 and 3) pushes up. In the slide g is located at the bottom, rotatable about a pin, a finger h, which would be held in a horizontal position by a leaf spring i , if it were not prescribed other movements. As a result of the upward movement of the slide g , the finger h hits the surface k of the nut channel and, in the highest position of the slide g, with the correct arrangement of the stop b, is brought into the position shown in FIG. 3. As can be seen from Fig. 3, the finger h releases the lowest nut in this position, which can now fall onto the slide α. In this highest position, the spring I is stretched, which exerts a pressure on the slide g from top to bottom. If the slider a now goes back with the approach b , the lever c and thus the thumb e rotates back and the slider g with the pin f could slide downwards if it is not through the finger h, which rests on the bottom nut to be prevented from wüide. The lowest nut lies on the slide α (Fig. 3) and can therefore not yet be brought into its lowest position according to Fig. Ι, although the stop b has released the lever c and the thumb e has now released the pin f . At the moment, however, when the slide a slides under the nut lying on it, the tensioned spring / comes into effect, which pushes the slide g with the finger h, which is pressed against the nuts by the leaf spring i and takes the bottom nut with her, pushes it down. The mother is j thus not dependent on her own weight, j but is inevitably brought into her working position. At the same time, the finger h fulfills a further purpose in that it retains the following nuts in the lowest position of the slide g according to Fig. Ι. As a result of its fork-shaped design at the front end (Fig. 4) it slides in between two nuts and then also rests on a pin m (Fig. 1 and 3), so that in this position according to Fig. 1 it does not go through alone the leaf spring i must be held, its tension by the weight of the nuts
Es würde also 65
in seinem Schlitz i:ai"!i oben geschoben wird
läuft leer.could be overcome. The setting of the lever h is now set up so that if inhibitions occur when threading 60, so that for example the slide α with the stop b would not come to its foremost position, the lever h does not reach its highest position and thus the lowest Mother not caught. No nut would therefore be pushed forward for the next operation, so that several nuts cannot be pushed onto the tap, thus preventing the tap from breaking off. In the position according to Fig. 1, the finger h can now also be held while the machine is running, if only the lever c (Fig. 2) is pushed up in its slot i: ai " ! I (after previously loosening the locking screw), 75 so that the shoulder b does not hit the lever when the slide a moves, but slides under it. This means that the axis d is not rotated with the thumb β and thus the slide g with the finger h is not pushed upwards; the 80 finger h locks according to position Fig. 1, the nuts are fed in, and the machine runs empty.
