Description
Aus gepreßten Blechen zusammengesetzter, selbsttragender Wagenkasten, insbesondere für Kraftfahrzeuge. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen aus Metall hergestellten Wagenkasten, der be- sonders geeignet ist für Kraftwagen ohne besonderes Fahrgestell, und der die Maschinenanlage zu tragen hat. Sie bestellt darin, daB der entsprechend der Kastenform gewölbte Längsträger des Wagenkastens auf einem mehrfach rechtwinklig abgebogenen Trittbrett öder einem rechtwinklig gebogenen Hohlträger befestigt ist, -Lind daß die obere Wand des Trittbretts oder des Hohlträgers nach innen so erweitert ist, daß sie den Fußboden des Wagenkastens bildet. Ferner sind die Längsträger des Wagenkastens hinten von den in bekannter Weise durch Einpressungen für den Radeinbau verstärkten Seitenteilen des Wagenkastens gebildet, reichen vorn bis in die Nähe des Kühlers und verstärken die den Motor unterstützenden Träger.Self-supporting car body composed of pressed sheet metal, especially for motor vehicles.
