Description
Flat foot insert made of vulcanized fiber. For this registration is according to the Union treaty from z. June igi i the priority due to registration in Austria from June 3o ig2.f claimed. Flat foot insoles. those to support the arch of the foot serve are known. These are vulcanized fiber, cork, celluloid, leather panels or air cushions stiffened by steel plates or bands and the shape of the Arch of the foot are adapted. They usually have the disadvantage that they are either too heavy, or not strong enough and not elastic enough or not durable enough cause a painful sensation of pressure over long periods of use. All of these drawbacks should be remedied by the flat foot insert produced according to the invention. These consists of at least two superimposed thin sheets of vulcanized fiber. the be shaped and driven over a foot model; the plates are then diluted in Soaked in acetic acid and isinglass solution and with an intermediate layer of thin thread or other fabric pressed together by means of heated molds, vulcanized and firmly connected.
By shaping and drifting, the fiberboards are shaped so resilient that warping or throwing during further treatment the same-n is excluded. The one inserted between the individual vulcanized fiber plates Tissue is used to evenly absorb and distribute one even with the strongest Pressing a sufficient amount of isinglass solution for a firm connection. After your vulcanization the whole insert is made with calico to protect against moisture and sweaty feet covered, lacquered with Zellon lacquer and with an impregnated leather sole for the Provided the tread surface of the foot.
The insert produced in this way has a very high durability and Elasticity; it can be made to measure, model or template. she owns with a thickness of only z mm a load capacity of 1 2o kg and therefore makes any steel reinforcement superfluous. Due to its small thickness and light weight, it can be used in can also be inserted into the lightest and most closely fitting low shoe.
