Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet eine Wollreinigungsmaschine neuer Construction in Verbindung mit einer Carbonisirmaschine. Die zum Zweck des Carbonisirens gesäuerte Wolle wird durch einen Aufgabetisch α den geriffelten Walzen b b und von diesen mittelst einer Flügelwalze c der oberen Horde einer Trockeneinrichtung zugeführt und gleichmäfsig auf der Horde ausgebreitet. Die letztere besteht aus mehreren einzelnen Rahmen d d d, welche drehbar in einer Kette ohne Ende befestigt sind. An der einen Wendetrommel e der Kette fallen die Horden aus der Führung heraus, und es gelangt so die Wolle auf die untere Hordenlage, wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich ist. An der vorderen Wendetrommel e¹ der Trockeneinrichtung fällt die Wolle auf die Hordenkette der Carbonisirmaschine und wird hier mittelst der Wendetrommeln f undy in der gleichen Weise wie bei der Trockenvorrichtung hin- und wieder zurückgeführt, um von der Wendetrommel f^l in die Reinigungsmaschine zu gelangen. Bei den bis jetzt bekannten Maschinen'wird das Carbonisiren und Reinigen nach einander in getrennten Apparaten vorgenommen.
