Dadurch daß kein Fett in die Hitzequelle tropft und verbrennt, ist die sonst übliche Qualm- und Rauchentwicklung und somit die unerwünschte Umweltbelastung nicht vorhanden bzw. stark reduziert. Auch der erhöhte Müllanfall durch den Einsatz der Grillpfannen aus Metallfolie ist stark verringert.
