Abstract

A cushioning material for packaging is made from a non-woven using natural fibres, esp. short flax fibres, with an organic binder. The binder is hardened and made waterproof by heating but can be fully decomposed by biological composting. The binder can be a potato pulp emulsion in water. The non-woven can be a needle punched fabric using flax, jute, sisal, coconut fibre, cotton, hemp or viscose. A non-woven (1) is heat formed to have circular projections (2) to give resilient cushioning. It can be made into a sandwich structure to incorporate other material which can be broken down organically such as straw, wood waste or waste paper. The binder can be applied throughout on only one side, or only locally to retain the shape of the recesses. The wt. is 100-2000 g/m2. USE/ADVANTAGE - Packaging material can be biologically recycled and poses no pollution problem.

Description

The invention relates to a natural fiber cushion fleece for Padding and / or packaging to protect sensitive Objects against impact, pressure and impact as textile surfaces formed from organic residual fibers.

The selected material from renewable raw materials should use by composting the biomass cycle are fed to elaborate take-back and recycling drive to make dispensable and valuable landfill space save up.

The natural fiber material on the one hand and the embossed structure on on the other hand in connection with a binder fixation organic base should provide sufficient protection for sensitive goods offer against external influences.

B. in Versandtaschen geschnitzeltes Alt papier verwendet.Upholstery fabrics for packaging and protection have been around for many Known for years and are now being shipped in large quantities used by sensitive goods. Mater known today Materials for this are more or less thick plates made of syn thetic compounds such as styrofoam, styrodur, polysterol or so-called bubble wrap made of PVC or PE. Will continue as upholstery z. B. Old shredded in mailers paper used.

The disadvantages of the materials used so far exist in the fact that these, on the one hand, come from irretrievable resources be produced with high energy consumption and on the other hand must be landfilled or incinerated after use, which brings with it the well-known environmental problems. Composting or even complete biodegradation Availability is completely excluded. Recycling is also possible in many cases almost impossible because of the individual connections sorted and sorted only with great effort can be. There are also many of these packaging materials materials made of composite materials that are only available under very high technical effort can be separated or otherwise as Hazardous waste must be disposed of.

Another major disadvantage is relative environmentally friendly waste paper chips the high weight and the low cushioning effect. In addition, waste paper from newspapers and magazines contain remnants of colors, which in turn are heavy metals and therefore a problem loose disposal or even composting very difficult.

The invention has for its object the above ge mentioned disadvantages of the known upholstery materials to be eliminated and a natural fiber upholstery fleece to create that renewable raw materials, especially their residues is easy to manufacture and has a high environmental impact points. It can be stored easily, has a certain Water resistance, is safe to use and brings advantages for the user.

This object is achieved in that the Natural fiber upholstery fleece made from renewable raw materials or is made from their residues, is light and soft, has a good cushioning ability and is supple and elastic is table. By using biologically completely buildable binders e.g. B. based on potato pulp, Lignin and enzymes or cellulose, that's the natural fiber Upholstery fleece after completion of its tasks without residues rotten.

Due to the way the natural fiber is impregnated Upholstery fleece with the biodegradable binders, and the variably adjustable concentration of the Binder, the natural fiber upholstery can differentiate soft to hard and the diverse Packaging tasks.

The good upholstery with low weight and a predetermined Stability is achieved by embossing indentations in certain size, depth and number reached.

Die Erfindung wird in den Fig. 1-4 dargestellt. The invention is illustrated in Figs. 1-4.
