Vorrichtung zum Ableiten der Auspuffgase bei Motorbooten. Es ist bekannt,
bei Motorbooten die durch. das Auspufforgan hervorgerufenen unangenehmen Geräusche
und die Rauchentwicklung dadurch zu beseitigen, daß man die Auspuffgase unter Wasser
in einen Topf leitet und sie durch den Strom während der Fahrt absaugen läßt. Beim
Rückwärtsfahren jedoch erfolgt eine Stauung oder wenigstens eine Hemmung der Abgase.
Der Zweck der vorliegenden Erfindung ist, diesen übelstand zu beseitigen. Die Erfindung
besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß die Auspuffgase in ein unten offenes, am Boden
des Wasserfahrzeuges angebrachtes Auspuffgefäß geleitet werden, in dessen Öffnung
eine pendelnde Klappe angeordnet ist, die durch die Strömung des Wassers stets so
eingestellt wird, daß durch die während der Fahrt unter
Wasser auftretende
