Eisenbahnmittelpufferkupplung.
Railway center buffer coupling. With the known central buffer couplings
with eyelet and rotatable disc hook a15 coupling links (Scharfenberg coupling)
two closed clutches released in that one of them is in the release position
brought and in this by external means, z. B. by a foldable weight,
is determined.
After the invention comes this particular device for fixing
the disengaged clutch completely eliminated, namely by the fact that the rear tongue
of the hook so short
will that after the coupling hook
one clutch has been turned by hand beyond the ready-to-couple position
is, the eye of the mating coupling freely enter the interior of the coupling head housing
can. If the coupling hook that has been turned by hand is then released again, it can
he does not return to the basic position under the influence of his pen because
the back of the hook of the mating coupling is in front of the mouth of the introduction funnel:
the mating coupling has placed. The coupling organs are thus in the release position
and only go back to the rest position when the intended one
Separation of the couplings has taken place.
Vorgang beim Lösen. :ebb. i zeigt die Kupplungen in der Grundstellung vor dem Kuppeln;
The coupling is shown in Fig. I to 6 in horizontal sections,
namely, Figs. i to 3 show the process during coupling, Figs. 4 to 6 the
Operation when loosening. : ebb. i shows the couplings in the basic position before coupling;
Fig. Z shows the clutches that are moved further against one another at the moment how
the coupling brackets collapse into the necks of the mating coupling, and Fig. 3 finally shows
the coupling position. Loosening by turning a hook forward is shown in Fig.q, and 5
and Fig. 6 finally illustrates the position of the coupling parts during
the separation.
Darstellung gebracht.
The rear tongue b of the disk-shaped coupling hook a is made shorter than the front tongue c according to the invention, and so short that the coupling hook a can be turned by hand beyond the position ready for coupling shown in Fig then the coupling eye d 'of the counter coupling can enter the coupling head housing g past the tongue b, as shown in Fig. 5. If, by turning back the coupling hook a, the couplings are brought into the release position according to Fig. 4, the coupling eye dl can enter the coupling head housing g of the opposing head past the rear tongue b of the hook a, in that the spring cl moves the coupling hook a1 into the rest position returns. The front curvature of the hook a1 is then in front of the mouth of the inlet funnel f ', and the manually released coupling hook a can only turn back a very small distance under the influence of its spring e, until the loop d attached to it is on the front arch of the hook hits a1 and is held here (Dep. 5). In this way, the coupling organs are held in the release position for the sliding service and can only return to the basic position as shown in Fig. I when the coupling halves have been separated.
The coupling is then released as follows: If the handle k is turned by hand in the direction of the arrow shown in Fig. 4 in the final position of the coupling shown in Fig further course, when the eyelet d 'emerges from the hook a, the rear tongue b of the hook a will push back the coupling eyelet dl against the action of the spring e1. As soon as the hook a is turned so far that its rear tongue b releases the coupling eye dl (Fig. Q.), The spring e1 comes into effect and pulls the hook a1 back into the basic position, whereby the eye dl on the tongue b of the hook a enters the housing g of the dome head (Fig. 5). In this position, after the handle k is released, the eyelet d of the hook a lies against the front curvature of the hook dl in the funnel f1 of the housing g1 and thereby prevents the hook a from returning to the initial position.
In the position according to Fig. 5, the coupling parts remain until the couplings are separated from each other when the carriages are moved apart. Here, the hook a is retracted by the spring e into the basic position as soon as, as shown in Fig. 6, the tongue b of the hook a passes the coupling eye dl. The two dome halves are thus brought back i @ i the position ready for coupling, without any special manual tutoring being necessary.
