Abstract
Description
The invention is directed to a contact pin in the preamble of Claim 1 specified type. A variety of such contact pins with its upper section held in a clutch plate. The chief cut creates bush-shaped on the face of the coupling plate Recordings in a defined arrangement pattern to make them compliant arranged pin-shaped plug elements of an electrical connection part, e.g. B. an electronic module to be able to couple. The subsection the contact pin forms a shaft, which is usually opposite the top section is set off. In the case of a printed circuit board the shaft protrudes into the circuit board and is there with a conductor track soldered. To hold it in the hole in the contact plate the upper portion of the contact pin has an outer part. Inside is an elastically deformable inner part for electrical contacting of the engaged plug element is used.
In the known contact pin of this type (FR-25 87 847-A1; DE-29 26 535-C2) the top and bottom sections consisted of a seamless Sleeve that had to be manufactured as an expensive turned part. As an inner part served a separate contact spring that was made for itself and inside of the sleeve-shaped turned part in an additional operation had to become. Beryllium copper was used as the material for this contact spring. The contact spring was in the form of a ring with axial spring tongues. The peripheral surface in the upper portion of the sleeve-shaped rotating part had a tooth profile that is used when mounting the contact pins in the holes the contact plate has been positively pressed.
In a socket of a different kind (DE-AS 11 57 683), the one in a PCB had solderable subsection, the top section was only formed in one layer and consisted of a longitudinally slit cylinder, which was used to hold a connector pin. An outer part was with this Socket not provided, which is why this socket is not like a Contact pin, can be held in a hole in a coupling plate te. The single-layer upper section was with the as a longitudinally slotted sleeve trained subsection in one piece by a narrow radial web educated. This radial web had to be in the same plane as the lower one Face of the single-layer upper section lie to the stability to ensure the socket on a circuit board. This steadfast was insufficient.
There is an electrical receptacle (DE-AS 16 15 565) known that none had in a circuit board definable section, but from a pipe cylindrical sleeve that was rolled from a sheet metal part, and a sheet metal edge over a V-shaped bend to a curved Spring leg was bent back inside the sleeve. This bent back Spring leg was the one resilient contact part for a male member, while the other contact part from the opposite sleeve zone itself det was. Both the outer sleeve and the contact were effective the inner spring leg. An independent contact-effective inner part, which was enclosed on all sides by an outer part was missing. The application on a contact pin of the type mentioned above was not obvious.
The invention has for its object an inexpensive, reliable Ren contact pin of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 develop that is easier and faster to manufacture. this will according to the invention by those stated in the characterizing part of claim 1 Measures achieved, which have the following special importance.
The invention is based on the knowledge that the spiral Dowel pins known construction principle is applicable to contact pins if one uses the measures indicated in the characterizing part of claim 1. The whole contact pin with its consist of the inner and outer part the upper section on the one hand and with its subsection on the other hand is formed in one piece. This is a particularly inexpensive manufacture of the contact pin guaranteed. A corresponding cut is sufficient made of resilient sheet material, which was known in one of spiral pens is wound in the same direction. The top section consists of a Inner turn that is at a free radial distance from an outer turn is enclosed. The inner turn creates an independent con clock spring for the plug-in elements of electronic components to be coupled, while the outer turn exclusively for mounting the invention Contact pin is useful in a hole in the clutch plate. Here the radial elasticity of the outer turn is used, whereby a simple assembly of the contact pin results.
Es zeigen:Further measures and advantages of the invention emerge from the wide ren claims. In The drawings show the invention in two exemplary embodiments. Show it:

The contact pin according to the invention is formed in one piece from a flat blank of a resilient sheet material shown in FIG. 6, brass having proven particularly useful as sheet material. The contact pin formed therefrom according to FIGS. 2 and 3 can be divided into an upper section 11 and a lower section 12 , each of which has a constant cross section, while an intermediate section 13 with a variable cross section lies between the two sections 11 , 12 . The Oberab section 11 can in turn be divided into an inner part 21 and an outer part 22 which are nested and designed according to the invention in a special manner in the manner of a so-called "dowel pin". In this construction for inner and outer parts 21, 22 of the top portion 11 is that of Fig. 6 apparent wide upper strip 14 of the blank 10 shown in Fig. 6. This is wound in the form of a spiral 20 shown in FIG. 3, whereby the aforementioned inner part is formed from an inner turn 21 of this spiral 20 and the outer part is formed by an inner turn 21 of the outer turn 22 of this spiral 20 . As can be seen from FIG. 6, the inner turn 21 is formed by the left zone 15 of the strip 14 in FIG. 6, while the right zone 16 of this strip 14 is used to produce the outer turn 22 . These two turns 21 , 22 are designed in a special way.
As illustrated in FIG. 3, the spiral 20 consists of an inner and outer circular profile 23 , 24 which, apart from a narrow radial gap 26 and 27 , each extends almost over a full 360 ° arc 25 . In a modification of this embodiment, the inner and / or outer turn 21 , 22 could be formed only from a portion of such a full circle 25 , and vice versa, each of these "turns 21 , 22 " could extend over more than one full circle 25 . However, the embodiment shown is the cheapest in terms of material expenditure and spring action. The two circular profiles 23 , 24 have radii 28 , 29 which are different from one another, but these are constant within the respective full circle 25 of the inner or outer winding 21 , 22 . The inner and outer turns 21 , 22 thus produce two cylinders which are longitudinally slotted by the radial gaps 26 , 27 and which are connected to one another by an S-shaped offset 18 . This cranking 18 forms a spoke-like course between the two circular profiles 23 , 24 and is produced from the intermediate zone 17 of the blank 10 shown in FIG. 6 in the wide strip 14 . In this intermediate zone 17 , the spiral 20 experiences the entire height of its slope. The two radii 28 , 29 are dimensioned to one another so that the resulting Innenwin extension 21 is arranged at a free radial distance 30 to the outer winding 22 . As a result, using the radial gaps 26 , 27, both the inner turn 21 and the outer turn 22 can be radially braced, which is important for their use in use.
In the present case, the course of the turns of the outer turn 22 is radially offset, but forms in the same direction as that of the inner turn 21 . The intermediate zone 17 consists only of an S-shaped offset which has to bridge the different lengths of the mentioned radii of curvature 28 , 29 .
The blank 10 of FIG. 6 also has a narrow strip 19 running at right angles to the wide strip 14 , which serves to produce the mentioned subsection 12 of the contact pin shown in FIG. 2. Again, this is done by forming a well-shaped kreisför here, in Fig. 7 shown winding 31, but could, if necessary, have a different profile, for example. B. could be designed spirally. In the vorlie case, the turn 31 consists of a circular profile 32 with a constant radius 33 . The winding 31 extends almost over a full 360 ° angular range 35 according to FIG. 7, if one disregards the narrow radial gap 34 . The circular profile 32 also produces in the Unterab section 12 a longitudinally slotted cylinder through the radial gap 34 .
In the present case, as can be seen in the zone 15 of the blank 10 from FIG. 6, which continues in the narrow strip 16 , the lower section 12 is designed as an axial extension of the inner turn 21 of the upper section 11 , as shown in FIG. 2. As a comparison of the cross sections of FIGS. 3 and 7 teaches, the windings 21 and 31 on both sides are essentially designed to conform to one another, but they have different radii 29 , 33 , which is why a correspondingly different winding diameter 37 , 38 according to FIG. 2 results. This creates a transition 39 between the inner turn 21 of the upper section 11 and the turn 31 of the lower section 12 , which is conical. This conical transition 39 lies in the region of the lower edge 41 of the outer turn 22 . The edge zone 40 of the outer turn located at the lower edge 41 is, as shown in FIG. 2, conically compressed and continues the aforementioned conical transition 39 in alignment. This creates between the upper and lower section of the already mentioned te intermediate section 13 , which reduces the outer diameter 42 of the upper section 11 to the small winding diameter 38 of the lower section 12 .
Fig. 1 shows the case of use of the contact pin 10 of the invention in principle to that of FIG. 2 to 7 corresponds to, but of the contact pin has, in a modification to the upper front end 43 of a compressed edge zone 44. In Fig. 1, only the edge zone 44 of the Außenwin extension 22 is chamfered radially inwards, so that there is a sharpened order around the leading edge 45 , as can best be seen from Fig. 4, which then continues in the peripheral surface 45 .
The lower end 47 of the subsection 12 is also designed in an analogous manner. The edge zone 46 located there is beveled by compression and produces a shaft tip 46 . This upsetting on the shaft tip ze 46 can be so strong that the turn opening 48 which can still be seen in FIG. 2 is closed. The winding opening 48 could also be closed by a stopper. Finally, it would be conceivable to close the winding opening 48 by means of a suitable filling material 49 in the region of the shaft tip 46 , which has sufficient temperature resistance and is indicated by dots in FIG. 2.
In the application case, the contact pin according to the invention is held together with a large number of corresponding further contact pins in a common coupling plate 50 according to FIG. 1. For this purpose, the clutch plate is provided with a stepped bore 51 , 52 , between which a sales surface 53 is created. The stepped bore initially produces a wide bore piece 51 , the clear width 56 of which can be seen from FIGS . 1 and 5, compared to the aforementioned, apparent from FIG. 2, outer dimension 42 of the upper section 11 is formed more closely. The assembly is carried out simply by inserting the contact pin in the direction of arrow 57 from FIG. 1 into the contact plate 50 from the rear 55 until it abuts the shoulder surface 53 with its upper end face 43 . The above-mentioned bevel 44 in the peripheral region 45 serves to ensure that in this insertion 57 the diameter of the outer turn 22 from the upper section 11 narrows radially elastically to the bore width 56 . This happens because the aforementioned radial gap 26 of FIG. 3 narrows in comparison to FIG. 5. As a result, the contact pin is non-positively clamped in this bore piece 51 via its outer turn 22 . In order to increase the interlocking security, the circumferential surface 45 , which is smooth in the present exemplary embodiment, could also have roughnesses or be radially profiled. In order to further simplify the introduction 57 , the inlet opening on the rear side 55 of the plate is provided with a funnel-shaped inlet opening 58 .
A corresponding entry profile is also present in the narrow bore step 52 , which is upstream of the sales surface 53 . There, a diaphragm opening 59 widens in a funnel shape towards the face 54 of the coupling plate 50 . This is used in the later intended use for coupling a pin-shaped plug-in element 61 , which belongs to an electronic module 60 or the like. The module 60 comprises several such plug elements 61 in an arrangement pattern which corresponds to the position of corresponding aperture openings 59 in the coupling plate 50 to one another. The coupling movement takes place in the direction of arrow 62 , as a result of which the beveled end of the plug element 61 is guided from the funnel-shaped diaphragm 59 into the interior of the inner turn 21 , as can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 5. The plug element 61 is dimensioned so that there is an elastic expansion of the inner winding 21 . This is noticeable in that the mentioned radial gap 27 in the longitudinally slotted inner turn 21 widens in FIG. 5 compared to the initial situation in FIG. 3. This radial Auswei device is possible because of the already mentioned free distance 30 between the two turns 21 , 22 of FIG. 3.
Die Kupplungsplatte 50 mit ihren Blendenöffnungen 59 wirkt als komplexe Kupplungsaufnahme für die Steckelemente 61 des Bausteins 60.As is apparent from Fig. 1, mounted in the contact plate 50 contact pins with the conductor tracks 63 of a circuit board 64 are connected. This connection is provided by the subsections 12 of the contact pin, which, possibly with remnants of the wider top section 11 , protrude on the rear side 55 of the contact plate 50 . The circuit board 64 has corresponding openings pattern provided openings 65 through which the shaft-like subsections 12 are passed. The top of the circuit board 64 can abut the conical intermediate sections 13 of the contact pins mounted in the contact plate 50 . The shafts of the subsections 12 protrude on the underside of the circuit board 64 and are contacted in the openings 65 by solder 66 with the conductor tracks 63 . So that during the soldering process the material to be soldered cannot get out of the inside of the turn into the upper section, the above-mentioned possibilities are used to close the turn opening 48 provided at the lower end 47 according to FIG. 2. After this soldering 66 , the coupling plate equipped with the contact pins is used 50 with the Lei terplatte 64 firmly connected and thus part of an electrical device. Now, as already described above, the associated electronic components 60 can be coupled in the direction of arrows 62 or decoupled in the opposite direction. The coupling plate 50 equipped in this way establishes the electrical connection between the conductor tracks 63 of the circuit board 64 and the electronic components 60 . The coupling plate 50 with its diaphragm openings 59 acts as a complex coupling receptacle for the plug elements 61 of the module 60 .
In order to increase the contact effectiveness, it is advisable, as can be seen from the development of the blank 10 in FIG. 6, to provide at least regions of the inner surface which later belongs to the inner winding 21 with a gold coating 67 or the like. Referring to FIG. 6, these gold coating 67 extends in the upper region of the wide strip 14 that is conducive to the formation of the longitudinal zone 15. In order to facilitate the soldering process 66 according to FIG. 1, the outer surface of the narrow strip 19 , which generates the turn 31 of the shaft-shaped subsection 12 after the shaping, is expediently, as in the blank 10 of FIG. 6, with a tin coating 68 or the like. Provided, which is indicated by hatching in Fig. 6.
