Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a dental implant with a shaft part and a conical retention part that has a retention process zen is provided as a sickle-shaped retention wing are formed, which are opposite each other on the retention part are provided and seen in the circumferential direction an inclined egg exhibit.
The anatomical shape of a tooth root and the one receiving it Alveolus is conical and oval in cross-section, the tooth sausage stand side by side with broad sides. This results in in the x-ray image a pyramidal bone course between the individual tooth roots (interradicular alveolar bone) and in such a way that the pyramid tip in the direction of the tooth crown shows. On these anatomical features of the alveolar nodule chens is based on the design of the dental implant de standing type. The dental implant is a so-called two-phase implant, which after removal of a Tooth is immediately implanted in the relevant tooth compartment. After a short healing phase, the implant is attached to the Post passage exposed, the implant post in screwed and a ceramic crown inserted without as before usual with a complex and also expensive bridge construction To have to grind the neighboring teeth. About that In addition, the otherwise occurring bone retraction (In activity atrophy) in the edentulous section of the jaw prevents what, especially in the upper jaw front area is of crucial aesthetic importance.
In a known (EP-OS 04 36 195) dental implant of the beginning mentioned type are the opposite pairs Re apart from a slight inclination, each because essentially on a perpendicular to the central axis Level arranged. The dimension running in the axial direction of the retention wing is in the radial direction from the outer edge markedly thicker up to the retention part. By a turn of the dental implant inserted in an alveolus by a maximum of 90 ° the retention wings are pushed into the pyramidal Al veulen bones. Encryption or locking takes place of the dental implant in the interradicular alveolar bone. The Dental implant with the retenti arranged axially one above the other wings must be well adapted to the taper of the alveolus and is only moved slightly in the axial direction to lock. It must that is, the shape of the socket is adapted to the dental implant, what is associated with labor.
An object of the invention is therefore to provide a dental implant to create the kind mentioned at the beginning, not on the alveoli must be provided, but a considerable distance from the base of the socket and by means of self-tapping Retention wings in the alveolar bones in the axial direction can be screwed in to the base of the socket. The fiction moderate dental implant is, solving this task, thereby known records that the retention wing along a helix track arranged around the retention part and trained det and in the radial direction from the outer edge to the right tention part thin in the direction of the central axis are.
One can now proceed in such a way that a retention part with the Retenti wings only fit into the coronal area of the alveolus and then is screwed in until it hits the base of the socket. Since the Alveolar bones towards the alveolar base are becoming ever more compact and wider the retention wings can always face the base of the alveolus continue to penetrate the alveolar bone. The retention wing one side is opposite the retention wing of the other offset by half the pitch of the screw. Due to the The retention wings can be made thin with relatively little Powerful and easy to cut through the alveolar bone drive through. With disk-like thin is meant that the Ver Ratio of the thickness of the retention wing on the retention part maximum radial extension of the retention wing at most Is 0.5, is usually equal to or less than 0.25 and z. B. is equal to or less than 0.15. A dental implant according to the invention tat with certain dimensions can be measured in different dimensions Insert a socket, depending on the size of the socket, such as conventional, only rotated by 90 °, or by 3/4, 1 1/4, 1 3/4, 2 1/4, etc. is screwed in. The number of differently dimensioned dental implants that are in stock can be kept lower.

Die Retentions flügel 3 umfassen an ihrem Fuß das im Querschnitt kreisrunde Retentionsteil jeweils um maximal 180°.The dental implant according to the drawing consists essentially of titanium or a titanium alloy and has a lower conical retention part 1 and an upper cylindrical shaft part 2 . On the retention part 1 , sickle-shaped retention wings 3 are provided, which are arranged such that they give the implant an oval shape in the plan view according to FIG. 3. The expression "crescent-shaped" describes the retention wing 3 in its extent in the circumferential direction along the retention part. The retention wings 3 have a significant inclination to a plane perpendicular to the central axis 5 . The lower end of the dental implant is rounded and provided with 4 benches. An implant post, not shown, belonging to the implant and a closure cap, not shown, are interchangeable. The crescent-shaped retention wing 3 , the cross-section of which decreases radially outwards, has a wedge shape according to FIG. 4 in the following sense: The axial thickness of the retention wing 3 increases in the circumferential direction up to a maximum value, in order to then decrease again in a wedge shape. The retention wings 3 include at their feet the circular retention part in cross-section each by a maximum of 180 °.
The retention wings 3 have in Fig. 4 a symmetrical pattern of changing the axial thickness in the circumferential direction. The retention wings 3 are shown here as very flat lenses. FIG. 2 shows a spiral path 6 , along which the retention wings 3 are arranged. The slope of the spiral track 6 with respect to the perpendicular to the central axis 5 is at least 5 ° and usually at least, ie equal to or more than 10 °.
