Mittig ist der Verbinder 21 mit einer von seiner Rückseite ausgehenden Aussparung 213 versehen, durch die sich vom verbleibenden Rücken 214, 214′ ausgehende, nach innen abgebogene, sich zum freien Ende hin verjüngende Zungen 216, 216′ erstrecken, die sich bei an den Stromschienenabschnitten 11, 11′ angesetztem Verbinder 21 durch den Schlitz 116 in die rückseitige Rinne 113 der Stromschienenabschnitte 11, 11′ Klemmsitz zwischen den Bestandteil des Verbinders 21 bildenden Zungen 216, 216′ und der jeweiligen Rinne 116 der vom Verbinder 21 zusammen gefaßten Stromschienenabschnitte 11, 11′ hervorrufend erstrecken. Der Klemmsitz wird stabilisiert durch den auf die Stromschienenabschnitte 11, 11′ aufgesprengten, die Stromschienenabschnitte einfassenden Verbinder 21. Die Zungen 216 verlaufen unter einem Winkel α ∼ 45° zur vom Rücken 214/214′ des Verbinders ausgehenden Senkrechten S, sie enden im angesetzten Zustand des Verbinders 21 an die Stromschienenabschnitte 11, 11′ im Abstand vom Grund 121 der Rinne 113 des Stromschienenprofils.
