Abstract

The windscreen wiper has its wiping action achieved not by the mechanical abrasion of the microedge of the wiper blade on the windscreen, but by a cushion of air between the wiper blade and the screen. The air is supplied to slots in the blade via a hose and can be preheated to overcome icing. Provision is also made for introduction of water to the blade edge. The blade motion is started only after air or water cushion formation. USE/ADVANTAGE - For all types of vehicles and aircraft, with reduced wear, improved reliability in all weather conditions.

Description

A wiper that we use for our cars, trucks, planes and other vehicles need to give us a clear view through the To enable the windshield when it rains is state of the art.

In 1908 Prince Heinrich von Prussia invented and registered at the German Reich Patent Office under the patent number 2 04 343. A windshield wiper is composed from a wiper motor on which an arm is under a spring pressure the end of which a wiper arm is articulated, in which a Wiper blade made of rubber with a micro edge is inserted. From Wiper blade made of rubber, the water is stripped from the window and rubbed mechanically. Except for the quality, modern presentation and the so-called micro edge on the wiper blade has in Essentially nothing changed. Through the micro edge on the wiper blade, that are pressed under constant pressure on the disc results good abrasion of the rain and at the same time a good view. The Wiper blades become dust and dirt relatively quickly worn out, so that we wiped the wipers on average 1 × in 6 months should change. Because the visibility in the rain is very bad anyway due to worn wiper blades, it becomes safe threatening to spot the action on the street. Besides, will also the windshield due to the fine dust and dirt damaged, which also has to do with security, even with Sunshine. By applying the invention which the Micro edge subject to wear, it will be possible run the wiper practically wear-free, at the same time will guarantee more safety when it rains on the roads and that Windshield to be protected from grinding marks. Instead of Rubber micro edge uses an air cushion. The new You have to imagine windshield wipers in such a way that they move away from the Appearance differs only slightly from the previous ones. The invention is based on the fact that when the windshield wiper is switched on, Air supply of about 2-4 bar the wiper against you adjustable stop, only a few tenths from the windshield e.g. B. lifts 0.1 millimeters, thereby forming an air cushion, which the water wipes off the window surface so that the wiper over the windshield will just float. The wiper blade should continue remain made of rubber or similar material. When running after According to the invention, the wiper blade has a conical shape with an elongated shape Slit of approximately 0.1-0.2 millimeters along the entire length. Both of them Tails need to be. Another embodiment of the invention provides that a heater is provided inside, so that in In winter, freezing of the wipers is guaranteed is. After scraping off the ice by hand for the first time, it forms usually immediately a new, wafer-thin layer of ice that passes through heated air can be avoided. Can through the slot in the wiper also the water for the windscreen wiper system with a Pressurized water pumps are led to clean the windshield.

Two lines are routed to the wiper, for air and for the water Windscreen wiper system. It will be possible either the air or that Turn on water. Only then should the windshield wiper move come when the pressure has built up and thus the air or Water cushion has formed.
