Das Planeten-Schaltgetriebe besteht aus einem Planetenradsatz mit Sonnenrad 7, Planetenrad 8, Planetenradträger 9 und Hohlrad 12. Der Planetenradträger ist mit einem An/Abtriebswellenstück 21 versehen zur Aufnahme eines An/Abtrieb-Elementes 4 z. B. Zahnriemenscheibe, Kettenrad, Kupplung usw. und mit dem An/Abtriebslager 22 gelagert. Das Sonnenrad 7, Sonnenradachse 5, Wellenbund 36 und An/Abtriebswellenstück 37 bilden eine Einheit und sind entweder aus Einzelteilen drehfest montiert oder als Einzelteil gefertigt. An/Abtriebs-Wellenstück 37 dient zur Aufnahme eines An/Abtrieb-Elementes 3 z. B. Zahnriemenscheibe, Zahnrad, Keilriemenrad, Kupplung usw. Das Hohlrad 12 wird mit einem Hohlradträger 23 mit der Schaltwelle 14 drehfest verbunden und ist mit Wellenlager 24 auf der Sonnenradachse gelagert. Um die Stabilität der freifliegenden Sonnenradachse 5 und Hohlradträger 23 zu erhöhen, ist ein Mittellager 25 in der Lageraufnahme 26 angebracht.The planetary gearbox consists of a planetary gear set with sun gear 7 , planet gear 8 , planet gear carrier 9 and ring gear 12 . Zur Synchronisation ist ein Reib/Synchronring 39 mit der Befestigung für Synchronring 27 an dem Schaltstück befestigt. Die Synchronisierung wird durch die Reibkraft zwischen Reib/Synchronring 39 und Anlaufteil 46 erreicht. Zur formschlüssigen Verbindung der Getriebeglieder ist an dem Schaltstück 15 Mitnehmer oder Formschluß-Element 19 angebracht das mit einem Gegenstück 20 am zu schaltendem Getriebeglied in Eingriff gebracht wird. Der Eingriff erfolgt durch die konstruktive Gestaltung erst nach der Synchronisierung. Zum Schalten ist in dem Schaltstück. 15 eine Ringnut 20 angebracht.
