Front brake for motor vehicles. The invention is a
Front brake for motor vehicles, in which the pulling force by a with a
Pulling element connected, double-armed lever mounted on the extended steering pin
in .the steering pin axis on a .the brake key carrying lever
will. The invention is characterized in that the designed as an angle lever
double-armed lever on one protruding into the interior of the drum transversely to the drum disc
Crank of the steering pin swinging in the direction of the front axle inside the drum
is stored. This makes it possible with a relatively narrow construction of the drum device
not only to accommodate the working parts of the brake inside the drum, as is known,
but auc'_ä, to be locked from the outside dust-proof. The attack route: for! That
Pulling element lies transversely to the drum disc. As a result, the pulling element only occurs
transversely to the drum disc in .this one, can therefore be through a relatively
small opening of the locking disc, which also carries the pivot pin for the brake shoes
lead through.
Auf der ,Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt. On the drawing, an embodiment is shown.
Fig. I is a top view of the drum with the brake shoe holder removed.
Fig. 2 is a vertical section and Fig. 3 is a horizontal section.
Bremsbackenhalter i gelagert sind.
In Abb. 3
The two brake shoes g work together with the drum. These are suspended with hubs g1 and g 'on pins z "and z2, which are mounted in the brake shoe holder i. This is attached (Fig The steering pin a has a forked:, boom a1, in which an oscillating piece d is rotatably mounted around the pin c. The arm d @ of this oscillating piece is connected to the linkage h, while the other arm d2 carries a spherical surface whose axis lies in the axis of the pin d. The spherical surface f l - of a lever e, which is directly connected to the key f, rests on the spherical surface of d2. This key f can swing (Fig. 3) in the burner jaw holder i Fig. 3 shows how the parts behave when the front wheel is deflected. Since the brake shoe holder i is connected to the steering knuckle, it also makes the deflection, and of course all the parts it carries do University the axis of the pin a completes, the system between dz and f 1 is not affected by the deflection movements, ie the key e can work under the same conditions for any deflection.
