Abstract

Die Papiermaschine setzt sich im wesentlichen aus einem Stoffauflauf 5, einer Siebpartie 6, einer Pressenpartie 7, einer Trockenpartie 8, einem Softglättwerk 9 und einer Aufrolleinrichtung 10 zusammen. Um die thermische Zerstörung der im Softglättwerk 9 zur Anwendung kommenden weichen Walzen 3 bei Berührung mit den beheizten Gegenwalzen 2 zu verhindern, wird die Papierbahn 1 mittig und in einer Breite den Walzenpaaren zugeführt, die höchstens 50 mm kleiner als und höchstens so groß wie die Länge des zylindrischen Teils jeder der bei den Walzenpaaren jeweils kürzeren Walze 2 oder 3 ist. Allgemein üblich ist dabei die in Fig. 1 dargestellte Variante mit der kürzeren, weichen Walze 3. Die hierfür notwendige Regelung von Lage und Breite der Papierbahn 1 erfolgt über beidseitig in der Siebpartie 6 angeordnete Randspritzer 11. Diese sind mittels einer Verstelleinheit 12 beispielsweise in Form eines Spindelantriebes quer zur Papierbahn 1 beweglich und trennen den Randstreifen der Papierbahn 1 mit einem Flüssigkeitsstrahl ab. Der Erfassung der Papierbahnkanten und damit auch der genauen Lage der Papierbahn 1 bezüglich der Glättwerkswalzen 2 und 3 dienen in der Papiermaschine führer- und triebseitig entlang dem Verlauf der Papierbahn 1 angebrachte Meßglieder 4. Sie können als Lichtschranke mit Diodenkette ausgebildet sein und sollten sich zur Verbesserung der Regelgenauigkeit an mehreren Stellen befinden. Ein mit den Meßgliedern 4 verbundener Regler 13 wirkt entsprechend dem beschriebenen Verfahren auf die Verstelleinheit 12 der Randspritzer 11 ein.
