Description
The invention relates to a method and a system for Preparation of one in the flue gas desulfurization in one FGD scrubbers, with accompanying substances such as gypsum, Metal oxides, especially iron oxides, and coal parts scrubbing sludge laden with soot and / or ash particles, by flotation. At the same time, the flotation enables Minimization of the solid matter in the waste water.
Hydroxyde ent halten. Flue gas cleaning is a crucial cost factor in the construction and operation of large combustion plants. In flue gas desulfurization plants (REA) large amounts of suspension are obtained, which contain considerable amounts of gypsum (CaSO 4 ) as well as impurities. B. hold carbon particles due to incomplete combustion and dusts or hydroxides ent. Both carbon particles and hydroxides ver considerably reduce the whiteness of the gypsum, even in small amounts, whereby it must be taken into account that in industrial buyers of gypsum demand a whiteness greater than 70%, preferably even greater than 80%. The cleaning of a heavily contaminated gypsum contained in the REA scrubber suspension has so far not been achievable with reasonable effort.
From US-PS 19 84 386 is a process for the preparation known from fly ash by a multi-stage flotation, whereby both products of a first flotation cell another Flotation cells are abandoned. Through this multi-stage Flotation succeeds the fine in the fly ash To separate particles from each other.
In the same way, the preparation of a REA Washer suspension of the type mentioned tries the gypsum present in roughly crystalline form through flotative Separate the preparation from the accompanying substances. The gypsum Suspension was, for example, according to one of the DE-PS 26 18 608 known methods mixed with reagents, which selectively the accompanying substances when air is introduced made to float. These flotation attempts resulted however, sometimes very long exposure and flotation times and proved to be uneconomical.
The sludge led to the sewage system also still contains such a proportion of gypsum that a deposit of the at Waste water treatment residues only on special landfills is possible with uneconomically high costs.
The invention has for its object a method and a plant for processing by flotation one at the flue gas sulfurization in a flue gas scrubber, with loading lubricants such as gypsum, metal oxides, especially iron oxide, as well as carbon particles, soot and / or ash particles to improve loaded laundry sludge and to perfect the above difficulties and to overcome technical limits, especially as To gain a pure white plaster of pure gypsum, which satisfies both the requirements of the building materials industry, such as also used as an additive in cement production should find, and on the other hand, the ge sewage system led to reducing the amount of gypsum plaster so far that the remaining contaminants without costly too additional processing with economically viable costs can be disposed of.
The problem is solved in one procedure of the type mentioned above by the measures of Labeling part of claim 1. Advantageous Features of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
Surprisingly, it was found that with a suitable Aus choosing a hydrophobicizing reagent compared to the other solid particles are large gypsum particles Attach to the bubbles and use them to climb to the surface and float. The finest particles such as soot, coal, In contrast, fly ash, hydroxides etc. are in the flota tion exit separated. In this way it can be targeted Select gypsum from the suspension and use economical deposit funds.
When concentrating gypsum in the foam phase, in the opposite Set of known flotation processes with concentration of Accompanying substances in the floating foam will continue Surprisingly achieved that the accompanying substances an essential Lich lower residual proportion of gypsum than this the older flotation processes were the case. So that will on the one hand, better quality, d. H. Whiteness of the plaster and on the other hand a very large proportion of gypsum cleaned residual sludge achieved.
In addition, it has surprisingly been found that a be particularly pure plaster quality is achieved if after Addition of flotation reagents and air a residence time the washer sludge in the flotation cell between 5 and 10 min. is set and the flotation reagents un indirectly into the cloudy feed of the flotation cell preferably in the suction area of the Flota's feed pump be metered in. Through experiments it was shown be that both lengthening and shortening the Dwell time a deterioration of the purity or the degree of whiteness of gypsum and higher residual proportions of gypsum in of the remaining cloudiness. Compared to older procedures ren significantly reduced by a factor of approx. 0.1 because of the cloudiness in the flotation cell results in a high Degree of economy in the process according to the Erfin as well as the layout of the corresponding application location.
One embodiment provides that as flotation reagents a collector-foamer combination, preferably consisting from fatty acids, sulfonates and nonionic surfactants, in a concentration between 200 g and 600 g, based on 1000 (one thousand) kg dry solid (gypsum) used becomes. With this collector-foamer combination, you can the plaster in the foam concentration to float on bring against which the impurities are pressed and remain in the rest of the cloudiness.
An embodiment of the method provides that the in the cloudy gypsum plaster about 90 to 95% in one preferably two-stage flotation processes from the scrubber floated cloudy, then the plaster into a first hydrocyclone level entered, partially dewatered and thickened and abandoned for further drainage of a filter stage becomes. It is advantageous to use the measure makes the gypsum one when passing through the filter stage Washing process is subjected. This will make it pure Degree of brightness and whiteness in a simple and economical way optimized.
Furthermore, one embodiment provides that the one Residual portion of gypsum containing of the second flotation stage with the Overflow of the first hydrocyclone stage combined and in a white tter, third flotation level and in this a remaining portion of gypsum floated out, the cloudy entered in a second hydrocyclone stage and that from the third flotation stage plaster discharged together with the Underflow of the second hydrocyclone stage in the flue gas scrubber recirculated and the one cleaned of gypsum, essentially only Waste materials such as metal oxides, carbon particles, Residual slurry containing soot and / or ash particles the overflow of the second hydrocyclone for further wastewater treatment is repelled.
Fil obtained in the washing process can be very advantageous entered and / or purified wastewater into the inlet of the first Hydrocyclones are introduced in such an amount that thus the total for the optimal working area of the Hydrocyclones required flow rate is reached.
A plant for the disposal of one at the flue gas detachment in a flue gas scrubber in particular to carry out the procedure according to the Er finding, includes in the characterizing part of claim 7 given plant parts.
Appropriate configurations of the system are corresponding the features of the subclaims are provided.
The invention is illustrated purely schematically in the drawings Process pedigrees are shown, from which further Details and advantages of the invention can be found.

Referring to FIG. 1, the plant comprises an at least two-stage Gipsflotation with series of flotation cells (1 and 2). The sludge outlet ( 10 ) of the scrubber ( 4 ) is connected to the first flotation cell ( 1 ) as a sludge feed. This is connected to the second flotation cell ( 2 ) in a series circuit with the line ( 11 ). The gypsum concentrate discharges ( 5 , 6 ) of the two flotation cells ( 1 and 2 ) are brought together in a common line ( 7 ). This is connected to the flow ( 8 ) of the first hydro cyclone ( 9 ). In it, the gypsum obtained in the foam concentrate is separated from impurity particles in a known manner by centrifugal action. The gypsum, which is cleaned both by flotative sorting and by hydrocyclonation, is discharged in the underflow of the first hydrocyclone ( 9 ) with the discharge line ( 22 ) onto a belt filter ( 23 ) or a centrifuge. The belt filter ( 23 ) or the centrifuge has a washing device ( 24 ), which cleans the plaster again with water and washes it clean. The gypsum is then further dewatered and obtained as a valuable product.
The first two flotation cells ( 1 and 2 ) are followed by a third flotation cell ( 3 ). In their cloudy feed ( 11 ) the outlet ( 12 ) of the second flotation cell ( 2 ) and the overflow ( 13 ) of the first hydrocyclone ( 9 ) with a common line ( 14 ). Since the hydrocyclone overflow ( 13 ), like the outlet ( 12 ) of the flotation cell ( 2 ), still contains small amounts of gypsum in the remaining slurry, it is added to the third flotation cell ( 3 ). In the third flotation cell ( 3 ), a small amount of gypsum is discharged again in the foam concentrate and the remaining turbidity is cleaned down to negligible gypsum residues. The third flotation cell ( 3 ) is followed by a second hydrocyclone ( 15 ). Its flow ( 16 ) is connected to the flotation outlet ( 17 ) of the third flotation cell ( 3 ). The concentrate discharge ( 18 ) of the third flotation cell ( 3 ) is brought together with the underflow ( 19 ) of the second hydrocyclone ( 15 ) in a common line ( 20 ). This line is returned to the flue gas scrubber ( 4 ). The small gypsum parts still contained in it serve advantageously in the flue gas scrubber ( 4 ) as crystallization nuclei for the gypsum formed therein. The overflow of the second hydrocyclone ( 15 ) is led out of the system with the line ( 21 ). This overflow contains a residual sludge freed from gypsum except for small residues in the order of between 1 and 3% and essentially only inorganic waste such as metal oxides, carbon particles, soot and / or ash particles. This is processed into a landfill product and purified waste water using known and economical means.
Another advantage of the invention is that the chemical oxygen demand (COD) of the waste water ( 21 ) is considerably reduced by the air injected during the flotation process.
An important aspect of the invention is that the Suspension from the bottom of the REA scrubber as directly as possible fed to the first flotation process and not between is stored. The suspension ingredients, for example the hydroxides should not be on the way to flotation experience chemical aging, such as this at Treatments by re-foaming or washing up the Case can be.
The arrangement according to the invention for carrying out the process is characterized in that the sump ( 40 ) of an FGD scrubber ( 4 ) is connected directly to a flotation apparatus ( 43 ). The gypsum suspension is conveyed by a pump ( 26 ) via a line ( 10 ) to a mixing point ( 27 , 28 ), at which a generally organic reagent is metered in from a storage container ( 42 ). With this reagent, the gypsum suspension coming from the REA scrubber is conditioned in such a way that the gypsum particles contained in the suspension are selectively hydrophobized. In a following, preferably multi-stage flotation plant ( 43 ), the hydrophobized gypsum particles are bound to air bubbles, which in the respective flotation stage ( 1 , 2 , 3 ) as shown in FIG. 2 by known means ( 31 , 33 ) into the cloudy be entered. The gypsum particles adhering to the air bubbles rise to the surface and are discharged via a flotate discharge ( 5 , 6 , 18 ). The particles not wetted by the reagent, such as in particular the carbon and dust particles and hydroxides, are withdrawn from the respective flotation stage together with the liquid carrier medium via a flotation outlet ( 11 , 12 or 17 ). The two flotation stages ( 1 and 2 ) are connected in series, the flotation outlet ( 11 ) of the first flotation stage ( 1 ) being connected to the inlet ( 29 ) of the following flotation stage ( 2 ). The two flotate discharges ( 5 and 6 ) are connected via a line ( 7 ) to the inlet of a first hydrocyclone ( 9 ). If necessary, washing filtrate of the belt filter ( 23 ) and / or cleaned waste water ( 21 ) can be fed into the line ( 7 ) via a line ( 34 ) in order to distribute the thickened suspension as a result of the flotation to an optimum working range for the hydrocyclone ( 16 ). set the required solids concentration. The use of filtrate or treated wastewater means that there is no change in the overall material flow balance within the flue gas cleaning system. The gypsum fraction largely cleaned in the flotation stages ( 1 and 2 ) is separated in the hydrocyclone ( 9 ) and added to the belt filter ( 23 ) or the centrifuge via the underflow ( 22 ). The solid leaving the band filter ( 23 ) or the centrifuge is gypsum with a whiteness of significantly more than 70%, usually more than 80%.
In the exemplary embodiment described, the slurry leaving the hydrocyclone ( 9 ) via the overflow ( 13 ) is mixed with the suspension in the outlet ( 12 ) of the second flotation stage ( 2 ). The resulting suspension is subjected to a further flotation process in a third stage ( 3 ). Here, too, the gypsum particles still contained in the suspension are optionally made hydrophobic by repeated addition of a reagent ( 42 ) and the gypsum flotate is drawn off via the flotate discharge ( 18 ). The residues remaining after this third flotation process contain only a relatively small amount of gypsum particles. The residue suspension is withdrawn through the flotation outlet ( 17 ) of the flotation stage ( 3 ) and transferred to a second hydrocyclone ( 15 ). Its overflow ( 21 ) is processed in a wastewater treatment plant. The underflow ( 19 ) of the wastewater cyclone ( 15 ) and the gypsum-containing flotate from the flotate outlet ( 18 ) are returned to the FGD scrubber ( 4 ) via a return line ( 20 ).
A circuit diagram of a flotation cell ( 1 , 2 , 3 ) is shown in Fig. 2. It shows the slurry feed ( 10 or 11 , 14 ) with the pump sump ( 25 ) and the centrifugal pump ( 26 ). Wei Fig. 2 shows a device ( 27 ) for metering the reagents with a downstream mixer with injector ( 28 ). The scrubber, which is enriched with flotation reagents, passes through the line ( 29 ) into the turbidity divider ( 30 ) and from there via several distribution lines to the gassing reactors ( 31 ). These are connected to an air compressor ( 33 ). From the ventilation reactors ( 31 ), the scrubbed sludge mixed with reagents and fine-bubble air reaches the flotation cell ( 1 or 2 and 3 ). Gypsum gypsum is discharged from this with the lines ( 5 or 6 , 18 ) in the foam concentrate, while with impurities in enriched sludge with the line ( 11 or 12 , 17 ) according to FIGS. 1 and 2 into the following flotation cell ( 2 or 3 ) is entered.
Modifications are possible within the scope of the inventive concept. So as a flotation plant z. B. only a flotation stage or a flotation cascade ( 43 ) with more than two flotation stages can be provided with corresponding series connections. Several hydrocyclones can work in parallel and are each fed by several flotation stages. The hydrophobicizing reagent can be supplied before or in the individual flotation stages ( 1 , 2 , 3 ). In a floatation stage ( 3 ) preceding the wastewater cyclone ( 15 ), heavy metals can also be separated by selective flotation, for example. The greater the number of flotation stages contained in the flotation cascade ( 43 ), the higher the gypsum that can be obtained and the lower the amount of residue to be disposed of.
