Description
Gaserzeuger-Treppenrost mit Ringplatten. Der Treppenrost gemäß der Erfihdung ist eine weitere Ausbildung des durch Patent 31399.4 geschützten Gaserzeuger-Treppenrostes. Es hat sich herausgestellt, daß bei der Ausbildung dieses Rostes mit flachen Ringplatten, insbesondere init nur einer einzigen Ringplatte und darunterliegender Vollplatte gemäß Abb. :2 des genannten Patentes, die Kohlensäure im Kern zu geringe Glut aufwies und das Feuer an den Seiten zu leicht hochbrannte. Der Übelstand wurde erkannt als herrührend von den verschiedenen Widerständen, die die Luft beim Eintritt zwischen der Rin- latte und der Unterkante des .,p Schachtes einerseits und zwischen den beiden Platten anderseits zu überwinden hatte. Gemäß Abb. i, die die alte Ansführting wiedergibt. bestimmt sich der Widerstand der in die Oberschicht eintretenden Luftsäule ans der Länge a, der Widerstand der unten eintretenden Luft ans der Länge b unter Zu-Mindelegung eines mittleren Austrittsquerschnitts der Luft ans der oberen Kohlenscbicht unterhalb des Fülltrichters. Gemäß der vorliegenden Verhesserting wird die durchlochte Rostplatte C (Abb. 2) in ihrem mittleren Teil so weit erhöht., daß die Oberkante der Kohlenböscbung zwischen dieser Platte und der unteren Vollplatte D ganz oder nahezu die Höhe der Oberkante der Kohlenböschung zwischen Schachtunterkante und oberer Ringplatte erreicht. -Man erkennt sofort, daß auf diese Weise die -Masse a. b ganz oder nahezu gleich geworden sind. Tatsächlich hat sich gezeigt, daß diese Änderting der Gestalt von günstigem Einfluß auf die Verbrennung im Gaserzeu-er ist, so (laß nuntnehr die Kohlenschicht gleichmäßig durchglüht niedersinkt.Gas generator step grate with ring plates.
