Fig. 4 zeigt ein gewölbtes Bauteil, bei dem das Stütz element als sogenannter Sandwichaufbau 7 ausgebildet ist, bestehend aus zwei Außenschichten 8 und einem Kern 9. In diesem Falle ist die aus der Keramik-Verbundplatte 1 und der Tragschicht 2 bestehende Panzerplatte mit dem durch den Sandwichaufbau 7 gebildeten Stützelement mittels Schrauben 10 verbunden. Auf die Rückseite des Sandwichaufbaus 7 ist zusätzlich eine Schutzmatte 11 angeordnet.
