Abstract

The protective plug for drain pipes is esp. for use during installation of sanitary appliances in new buildings, and during renovation works in old buildings. The plug (1) consists of a rotation symmetrical stud with several steps (1a,b,c), of different dias. The end of the smallest stepped section is closed. Each step pref. has the same wall thickness, and the transition areas (U) between the steps are inclined, or rounded.

Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Schutzstopfen besteht in seinem Grundaufbau aus einem rotationssymmetrischen, mehrere Durchmeserabstufungen 1 a, 1 b, 1 c aufweisenden Zapfen und ist somit für in einer Wand "W" verlegte Abflußrohre "R" unterschiedlichen Durchmessers ein setzbar. In spezieller baulicher Ausgestaltung ist dabei vorgesehen, daß der neuerungsgemäße Stopfen als Hohlkörper mit vorzugsweise gleicher Wandstärke "s" im Bereich jeder der Abstufungen 1 a, 1 b, 1 c ausge bildet ist, wobei die gegenseitigen Übergänge "ü" letzterer 1 a, 1 b, 1 c gefast, geneigt oder ausgerundet verlaufen und sich somit gut in die Rohrenddichtung "D" einfügen. Um in dieser Einbaulage nun auch Spül vorgänge für die Rohrleitungen "R" durchführen zu können, ist erfindungsgemäß weiterhin vorgesehen, daß die an sich geschlossen ausgebildete Stirnseite 2 der kleinsten Durchmesserstufe 1 c ggf. zusätzlich noch mit sternförmig oder ähnlich verlaufenden Ein kerbungen 3 versehen ist, wobei die Wandstärke "s ₁" der Stirnseite 2 wesentlich kleiner als diejenigen "s" der Abstufungen 1 a, 1 b, 1 c gehalten wird, so daß die gekerbte Stirnseite 2 und 3 leicht durchstoßen werden kann, z.B. zum Einführen eines Spülschlauches. Als Material für den Schutzstopfen eignet sich am besten irgendein Kunststoffmaterial ausreichender Festigkeit. Claims

1. Protection plug for drainage pipes, primarily in the sanitary installation of new buildings or in old building renovations, characterized in that the plug ( 1 ) consists of a rotationally symmetrical, several diameter gradations ( 1 a , 1 b , 1 c ) on pointing pins.

Protection plug according to claim 1, characterized in that the peg-shaped plug ( 1 ) as on the end face ( 2 ) of the smallest diameter step ( 1 c ) closed hollow body with preferably the same wall thickness ( s ) in the region of each of the gradations ( 1 a , 1 b , 1 c ) is formed, the mutual transitions ( ü ) of the latter ( 1 a , 1 b , 1 c) being chamfered, inclined or rounded.
