Description
The invention relates to a shelf for ceramic fired goods. Ceramic kiln, in particular fine ceramic products like porcelain, are placed on appropriate shelves or so-called kiln furniture and in a continuous furnace such as a tunnel furnace or in a discontinuous oven like one Bogie hearth furnace burned.
In order to arrange the items to be stacked one above the other, Kiln furniture made of plates and bars used put together a kind of scaffold for receiving the fired goods form. Aside from the fact that such constructions are mechanically not very stable and often when Collapse transport on kiln car through a kiln, is an automatic filling and depositing of the ceramic Products almost impossible.
This also applies to the use of so-called burning capsules, which are adapted in their dimensions to the respective firing material are.
With the development of rapid firing stoves, one is there passed to burn "single-ply", that is the articles next to each other and no longer on top of each other. Then only the corresponding shelves are necessary. Typical dimensions of the furnace channel of such Rapid firing furnaces are: 3 to 5 m wide, 10 to 50 cm Height. The problem arises that no one-piece Shelves with the specified widths are available, that is, the shelf for the kiln must be off several individual floors can be put together. Hereby arise in the contact area of the individual floors Edges and shoulders so that the firing material is not absolutely plane footprint has more. In addition there is with large floors there is an increased risk of thermal Tensions as you walk through the oven.
From DE-OS 28 44 281 is a base for ceramic Known firing material, which is similar to a comb, the back of the comb is used in the grooves of webs, lying on the floor of the kiln car. In doing so the arrangement of the "comb teeth" should be such that their free Ends lie in a horizontal plane. The disadvantage is the complicated structure and the low mechanical stability the arrangement. In addition, the distance between the individual Rows of support columns individually depending on the material to be burned.
From US-PS 43 62 507 is a kiln furniture known, which is designed in the form of a tripod, wherein depressions arranged on the surfaces of the legs are into which balls can be placed to be on them Way the distance of the support points for to be put on To be able to change the firing material. The well-known kiln furniture only allows the inclusion of large parts, because at least three support points are required. It also proves to be practical in use difficult because the balls are insufficient in the pictures can be positioned.
A kiln furniture in "tripod form" is also in the US-PS 31 37 910 described. There are in the surface of the kiln furniture arranged wells that are filled with a material in which pens lie, which transfer the surface of the kiln furniture upwards and serve as riot points for the firing material to be placed.
Due to the tripod shape, only large areas can be used here Parts that are placed on at least three points need to be burned. An adaptation to different types of kiln Size is not possible.
Here should the fired segment-like base body in grooves, Slits or other depressions in the fiber mat are stable in storage to be ordered. On the surface of the body the firing material is then put on. Although such Kiln furniture also for rapid firing ovens at the beginning can be used, there is no insignificant disadvantage of the known arrangement in that that the kiln furniture and in particular the arrangement the base body can be made individually in the fiber mat must, that is, in the case of different articles to be burned the base bodies must be moved accordingly. Even if - as suggested in DE-OS 35 16 490 - a such moving of the base body automated by a robot can be an essential part of this Disadvantage of the known proposal, since every implementation Time and money costs and the risk of mechanical Destruction of the basic body exists.
In this respect, the invention is based on the object Kiln furniture or a shelf for to provide ceramic firing material with which the disadvantages described are overcome. In particular the shelf should be designed so that it is independent a universal one from the respective firing material Use and thus an automatic setting and setting down enables.
This object is solved by the features of claim 1. The invention is based on the knowledge that the described Disadvantages can be overcome that the large area known from the prior art The shelf now consists of a multitude of mosaic-like elements is put together, which is positioned relative to each other are, however, a certain mobility relative to each other still allow.
In this way, thermal changes in length will occur small mosaic-like sections that transfer technically can be easily mastered.
In addition, the invention has recognized that by a mosaic Compilation of a shelf the individual Mosaic elements can be designed so that a kind "Fakir bed" arises with the advantage that between the Streak the furnace gases through individual, vertically rising webs can. In this way it becomes one layer firing material placed evenly from all sides Flows around furnace gases and not only faster, but also also heated and burned more evenly. The conventional one Firing technology with common firing aids frequently observed "cold feet" of the firing material avoided. The ceramicist calls the sections "cold feet" of the fired goods that are less well sintered. Here for example, the lower sections of a kiln that is in the middle of a kiln car got up on the furnace plateau and therefore less was well achieved by the furnace gases.
The invention describes in its general embodiment then a shelf for ceramic fired goods with the features of claim 1.
An important feature of the invention is the mosaic Structure of a shelf from individual elements. But it is also important that these elements essentially are formed in two parts and from a lower foot section consist of essentially positioning each element serves as the upper section on the one hand forms a (partial) contact area for the firing material, but at the same time, due to its shape, the training a space for the passage of the furnace gases enables.
The formation of the foot sections and packaging The individual elements can be related to each other in different ways Way. The foot sections and thus the Elements can have direct contact with each other. In this case, a polygonal cross-sectional area, for example in honeycomb form. Then there are corresponding on the six surfaces of the foot section Areas of the adjacent six other elements at. In this way, an "in-situ" positioning is obtained of the elements among themselves. Of course such an assignment can also be used, for example reach square or round cross-section, whereby however, a cross-sectional shape of the elements is preferred, in the overall a more or less closed Surface is formed.
The top sections can be a more or less any Have cross-sectional shape. However, it is important that their cross sections are chosen so that between adjacent Sections each have a free space, see above that even after putting on an article to be burned a kind of duct system remains below the firing material, through which the furnace gases pass freely and unhindered can. This ensures that only work with top burners in the oven can.
Since it cannot be ruled out that during the "oven journey" chipping off parts of the fired goods at some point or Impurities for example from the burners on the Fired goods are led, it is proposed the free space between the top sections of the elements immediately above the foot sections with a temperature resistant Fill in material, for example a ceramic fiber mat, so that such foreign particles on this mat fall and not between the surfaces of adjacent foot sections can penetrate.
The foreign particles lying on the fiber mat in this way can can be easily extracted later outside the oven.
The elements become different as they pass through the oven Exposed to temperatures. To mechanical tension between the foot sections of the individual elements it is suggested to prevent the elements altogether or at least the foot sections of the elements from one To produce material with a low coefficient of thermal expansion. But since there is no material that is practical is free of thermal expansion, the invention proposes in one advantageous embodiment before, between the foot sections individual elements or groups of elements Arrange expansion joints and if necessary with them a temperature-resistant, reversibly compressible Fill out material such as a ceramic fiber mat. The expansion joints should be as narrow as possible, the overall stability of the elements to endanger.
The material selection of the elements is also determined by the tasks that are assigned to the individual sections. So it is suggested the foot sections of the elements made of a heat insulating material and the upper, pin-shaped Sections of the elements from a thermally conductive To form material. It will go down towards on the conveyor unit, for example the kiln car achieved additional thermal insulation while the pin-shaped upper sections of the elements if possible easily absorb the heat that passes between them and should be transferred to the kiln. For this reason it is also suggested the pin-shaped sections form as a hollow body.
Among other things, aluminum oxide, Silicon carbide, recrystallized silicon carbide, SiSiC, Zirconium dioxide or titanium dioxide. The individual elements can be cast or pressed. Have pressed parts the advantage of a high density and thus reduced Thermal expansion.
The individual elements are then, for example, on one Kiln car in a corresponding edge recording Arranged side by side, and only once. The height of the elements and the Cross-sectional area of the upper sections in particular according to the good to be burned. Porcelain is a good choice a height of the total elements between 5 and 15 cm, the foot section each about half of the total height matters. With a circular cross section, the Diameter of the upper sections of the elements approximately between 0.5 and 1.5 cm, the free distance between the upper sections to each other preferably between 0.3 and is 1.0 cm, so that any firing material easily placed on a shelf designed according to the invention can be.
To glue or sinter between the firing material and to prevent the contact areas of the elements it may be advantageous to have the end faces of the elements to be provided with a release agent, for example sprinkled, sprayed on or every new oven cycle is stuck on.
In the figures, the same or equivalent components shown with the same reference numerals.
The element 10 according to FIGS. 1a, b consists of a lower foot section 12 with a hexagonal, honeycomb-shaped cross section and an upper, web-shaped section 14 with a circular cross section. FIG. 1b can be seen that the cross-sectional area of the foot portion 12 is larger than the cross-sectional area of the upper section 14. The upper section 14 is designed as a hollow cylinder, while the foot section 12 is solid.
A large number of the elements 10 - as shown in FIG. 2 - is put together to form a support floor, with a surface of an adjacent element 10 abutting on each of the six surfaces of the foot section 12 , so that overall a honeycomb-shaped assembly of the foot sections 12 within a frame 18 is included Soil 20 results. The box-shaped frame 18 with bottom 20 consists of a temperature-resistant material, for example SiC, Al₂O₃. However, the parts can also be made from temperature-resistant ceramic fiber materials.
Characterized in that the elements 10 are structurally identical to one another, the foot sections 12 form a more or less closed bottom 22 from one another, from which the web-shaped sections 14 project upwards. The upper end faces 24 of the elements 10 run in one plane and serve as a contact surface for the ceramic material 26 to be fired ( FIG. 3). Even when the firing material 26 is in place , there is always a free space 28 between the web-shaped sections 14 . It is important that the free space 28 is open horizontally from the front to the rear and from right to left, so that the furnace gases can pass freely through the free space 28 when the support base is pushed through a rapid-fire furnace, for example on a furnace car. In this way, the combustible material 26 is subjected to the combustion gases not only from above, but equally from below, whereby a particularly intensive and uniform heat treatment of the combustible material 26 is achieved. The combustion gases flow around the material practically on all sides.
The dimensions of the elements 10 and, in particular, the free spacing of the upper sections 14 from one another are selected in an application-specific manner in such a way that small and large parts can be safely placed on the end faces 24 of adjacent elements 10 . The spacing of the elements is chosen so closely that even when the parts are automatically set, at least three contact points (end faces 24 ) are always available for the respective article. For example, in a furnace for firing porcelain, the shape and size of the elements will therefore be based on the smallest parts to be burned, for example egg cups, and it follows that larger parts, such as plates, cups or coffee pots, will then readily be used can be placed securely on the elements 10 since they rest on a correspondingly larger number of elements 10 .
Depending on the material of which the foot sections 12 are made in particular, thermal expansion of the matrix material can occur, in particular in the region of the firing zone of the furnace. Due to the planar contact of the elements 10 against one another, mechanical stresses between adjacent elements 10 could then occur, depending on the temperature there. For this reason, it is proposed, for example, to install an expansion joint between every 5th or 10th row of elements 10 , in which, for example, a compressible ceramic fiber mat is inserted, so that the expansions can easily be absorbed. It is also possible, for example, to provide a corresponding expansion joint all around in the area of the frame 18 .
Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of a support base 16 , in which on the end faces 30 of the foot sections 12, a ceramic fiber mat 32 lies between the upper sections 14 , the height of which is less than the height of the web-shaped sections 14 , so that the fiber mat 32 freely tower above. The fiber mat 32 is intended to prevent foreign particles, which are caused, for example, by spalling of the firing material 26 , from falling directly onto the foot parts 12 or into the contact area of adjacent elements 10 and causing mechanical stresses between the elements 10 there . Such foreign particles now fall onto the surface of the fiber mat 32 and, after the support base 16 has been led out of the furnace end, can be easily swept or vacuumed off easily. At the same time, the fiber mat serves as thermal insulation in the direction of the floor 20 .
FIG. 4 shows the arrangement of a support floor 16 on a kiln car 32 which is sealed at the edges against the walls 34 , 36 of the kiln 38 by corresponding folds. The figure also shows that burners 40 are arranged in the side walls 34 , 38 , the burners 40 running approximately at the level of the material 26 to be burned, that is to say that the furnace is run exclusively with so-called top burners. On burner, that is burner, which are arranged below the material to be burned, can be dispensed with due to the inventive design of the shelves 16 , since heat transfer via the free spaces 28 is also ensured in the area below the material to be burned 26 . As a result, the furnace structure is simpler overall and the heat energy required is reduced.
If desired, a single shelf 16 can be provided on a kiln car. Likewise, it is also possible to assemble different shelves as modules and to arrange them directly against each other.
